Genius Repair — Attraction in Town of Henrietta

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Horrible customer service. I took my iPhone 7 Plus in for a screen replacement. My phone was working although my screen was cracked. I was told 30 minutes for repair. When I returned to pick up my phone, I was told 15 more minutes. Ok, no problem. Fifteen minutes later, my phone was CRACKED EVEN MORE. No repair at all and a new pressure mark. The young lady who was supposed to fix my phone had broke it ( unbeknownst to me at the time). Frustrated, I grabbed my phone and left. I made a reservation for the Apple store to see if they could fix the bigger problem that this place genius repair made. I was told there was nothing that could be done once at the Apple store. I took the phone back to genius repair and told them that my phone has not been working ever since it came there for repair. The young lady who BROKE my phone was apparently fired the next day- as told by me from the manager. The “manager” had me verify that I actually went to the Apple store- like I was lying. A week in a half later still no phone. I would not recommend this...

Recently brought in a Nintendo switch with an unusual issue, that it charged normally but would only output video on some docks but not others. Since the system was out of warranty, I brought it to Genius Repair to assess what was going on. They ran multiple tests for about a week and kept me updated the entire time. While they unfortunately could not diagnose the problem, they went above and beyond with trying everything they could; even testing the switch on additional docks that they had requested from me mid-repair and giving thorough explanation about their process. All of this without any additional charge aside from the diagnostic fee.

I would highly recommend Genius Repair for any repair needs because they are a shop that genuinely cares about their customers and goes above and beyond for them. Although I'd never hope for one of my electronics to break, I would happily return to Genius Repair for their honest and...

Okay...these guys are fantastic. Not only did they fix my first generation Pixel XL, but it was done fast given I broke my screen smack dab between Christmas and New Year's. But what impressed me more than the quick turnaround during the holidays was their professionalism. These guys are corteous knowledgeable and polite. Their prices we're reasonable, actually very good and much less than a big name outfit quoted me. What sold me as I handed over my disabled smartphone, was being given a loaner phone at no charge so I could at least stay on top of my messages, calls for work and social media.
