I have gone to this store for years and I can genuinly say the money is all they care about. I bought 3 things while I was at this location(mind you I’ve only been to this location 1 other time) when I arrived home one of my crystals were broken in half. I called the store to ask about what I could do and the man who answered the phone was not helpful and very stand offish, I wasn’t expecting anything back but maybe an exchange. While giving ideas on what could happen seeing as my stuff was not wrapped and just tossed in a little net bag. He said “I don’t think that happened” in a condescending tone and everytime I tried figuring it out he just got frustrated and then said “well I OBVIOUSLY can’t do anything tonight and I need to see the stone (I’ll attach a picture just for you homie) . I then explained I’m giving ideas seeing as the crystal o bough from you is now split in half. I WONT BE RETURNING TO EITHER LOCATION!
Aaron’s alley and arkamage have all their crystals ethically sourced and reasonable prices ! They have always been sweet and I’ve had to return/exchange things no problem. So I recommend going to either of those store or even lightways in Brockport N.Y.
I’m so disheartened by the conversation I had with this person… I’ve been going to mythic for 5 years almost and this BY FAR was the worst customer service I have ever received(I’ve had minor things happen but that’s to be expected). This is supposed to be a place of light and happiness but after tonight I just can tell they are not a safe or understanding place anymore. They weren’t always like that but I can just tell they are just here for the money
UPDATE* they contacted me over text message… they ( the establishment) texted me (the customer) so do not give your bomber out to them unless you want them...
Read moreI went there yesterday to buy a few stones during the 20% off all stones sale that’s going on til the 28th of April. I saved the coupon that was sent to my phone number via text. When I went with my mom in law, we were doing our separate shopping. She went up before me and I set some of my belongings on the counter and continued the rest of my shopping. I overheard my mom in law signing up for her own account and when you do so, your first purchase is 15% off. The lady asked her if I was finished and I heard my mom in law tell her no that I was still looking and that I had my own phone number and wanted to use my coupon. When I was ready to cash out she rushed me to cash out. She told me I had a 15% discount with my phone number in so I started typing my phone number in. She cut me off and said I didn’t need to because a number was already entered. So I assumed my mom in law gave her my number already. I asked what about the 20% off all stones and she told me it was automatically applied. So in the end, she refused to let me put MY OWN phone number in and was lied to about my coupon being used and was stuck with a 15% off my most expensive purchase instead of getting the 20% off all stones. She rushed me out, kept cutting me off and would not let me use my own phone number. Today I get a message saying that my coupon was still valid and was about to expire. The point was that I spent 92$ on stones and other things for a sale that I reserved a coupon for and was unable to use it because the young woman who cashed me out rushed me out and used someone else’s number instead of my own and refused to let me...
Read moreFor me, Mythic Treasures isn’t just a store, it’s a family and a safe haven. Years ago my very first visit was shortly after I had lost my parents. I came to visit my aunt and cousin, but instead, it was a staff member who welcomed me with such warmth and kindness that I never forgot it. He had no idea I was related to the owners, and his work was cut out for him that day because I didn’t even know what a crystal was! Yet I left with books, crystals, and treasures that carried me through a very dark time of grieving. Even though I didn't get to visit my Aunt Sue and cousin Tim that day, they were the reasons I walked in the door. What I never expected was that it was Jake who I was meant to see. That single experience showed me my aunt was creating something truly unique and special, not just with her store, but with her staff. It was so much more than just regular customer service. That was the reason I kept coming back wanting more.
Today, I work here part time just one day a week. Not for the paycheck (which I usually spend right back in the store lol), but because this place feeds my soul in a way no corporate job ever could. After losing most of my family, I found so much more than just a workplace… I found an even bigger family in the staff, the vendors, and even the regular customers. That’s why the fake 1-star reviews are so deeply offensive. They don’t reflect the truth of this place or the people behind it. Mythic Treasures is so much more than just a store…it’s a home where everyone is welcome. I can confidently say that anyone who walks through the doors will feel the...
