Went and saw primus and clutch Friday July 21 2017. Great venue for a show. Easy place to find with plenty of parking and relatively easy to leave. Very new and clean with plenty of beer and concession sites so the lines are minimal and service is quick and convenient for such a large crowd. Bartenders were quick and polite. Lots of bathrooms which were also clean. It's all general admission but they have a couple sections of stadium style seating which is nice to get off your feet and relax if you don't want to be in the pit. Also have a bartender to serve you in your seats and a separate full service bar so you don't have to miss any of the show. Big seats with plenty of leg room. Also a large easily accessible smoking area which is good since most places are doing away with them. Air conditioning was cranking and really helped to keep it comfortable during the show. Acoustics were outstanding and the Bands sounded great. Only negative was the line to get in. Security is like going through TSA. Empty pockets into a bin, get a wand check, then a thorough pat down which was borderline uncomfortable. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars but at least we new we were all safe so maybe it's a good thing. I just thought it was a little uncomfortable and overkill. Overall great place...
Read moreWent to The Dome to see Jack White. Also took my daughter there for a Bassett (dog) show.
Pros: Plenty of elbow room, convenient location, lots of diverse events, and big women's restroom!
Cons: Confusing layout to parking lot....ended up going down a dead end when I pulled in--needed to hang a Louey, but I only know that now.
Free parking for Bassett show, but had to pay to park for the concert!
No food at events, so us Celiacs and hypoglycemics are really SOL.
Not a lot of seating, if at all. Bassett show was bring your own lawn chair (which I didn't know). As for the concert, I had no idea there was seating around the arena as it was dark when I got in there, so I couldn't see any stairs. My back was killing me from standing so long, so I left both events sooner than I would have liked to.
I would have given less stars, but they had Jack White there, so that made...

Sound isn't the greatest, but very good. Could partially be due to the next point... It's really loud, uncomfortably loud. I go to quite a few shows too, this review is actually for the 3rd time I've seen QOTSA and Royal Blood in the last year or so. I'm usually not one to complain about volume at a show, and I don't see other complaints so maybe it was just me.
I found the elevated seats on the side to offer good sightlines and some escape from the excessive volume. The bar upstairs was also really nice, as were the bathrooms that had no lines.
The stage should be further elevated in my opinion, it was somewhat difficult for me to see and I'm 6'3.
It was nice and cool on a warm day. Plenty of bathrooms, look to have been remodeled recently. Typical concert prices for beer, but it was for local craft beer, $5-7 per pint.
Definitely...
