Well were do we start here? This greedy nasty criminal enterprise that profits off of the pain and starvation if the middle-class especially the elderly that survive on a fixed income is appalling at best. Why is it that wegmans brand products have completely replaced all brand products only at wegmans? Also why is it at the same time wegmans is conveniently price gouging and shrinkflating' its own products after they took away all other brand name competitions. I dont currently have the amount of time needed to get started on there nasty condescending staff members especially the crooks at the pharmacy that constantly think they can override doctors orders. This is criminal at best. Stay tuned for the rest of the story as this is my second time typing this all out because conveniently when I finished the first one it deleted everything. This needs to be said. Wake up people. Lets go now lets get some sense. Walmart has brand name food at half the cost as wegmans brand is. Stay safe and stay woke y'all have a great new year
11/13/23- I have not shopped at wegmans in almost 2 years and still h8te the corporation as much as when I wrote this. Why is it that you are annoying the WEGMANS cashier after they scan your food and they just go $641.71 like yawwn hurry up and give me the $650 bucks so I can get back to my little CELL PHONE.... These managers need to get these employees to not use cell phones on the clock. All these KIDS CARE ABOUT IS THE LITTLE CELL PHONE. My friend that still shops at wegmans should not be waiting to hand over his $700 bucks so then cashier can finish on their little CELL PHONE. LOCK THE EMPLOYEES PHONES UP FOR THEIR SHIFTS WEGMANS. EVERYTHING IS TO EXPENSIVE TO STILL BE SECOND TO A LITTLE CELL PHONE!!!!!!! THE MATHS NOT MATHING WEGMANS. LETS GET YOUR EMPLOYEES OFF THEIR CELL PHONE TOGETHER!!! NO MORE CELL PHONES FOR WEGMANS EMPLOYEES WHILE COLLECTING A PAYCHECK. LOCK UP EMPLOYEES CELL PHONES SO THEIR JOB IS THEIR 1ST PRIORITY AS IT SHOULE HAVE BEEN FROM THE JUMP.

I love this store and have written great reviews. Iāve always appreciated Wegmans for its excellent customer service, but unfortunately, my experience today fell short. When I approached the customer service desk, an associate Amber, was engaged in a conversation with others behind the counter. However, I did not have to wait long before she turned to face me. I greeted her with āhi,ā but she didnāt respond until I said it a second time. She didn't look me in the face. She just simply took the lottery tickets out of my hand to begin the transaction. While she processed the transaction efficiently, her demeanor was not very friendly or welcoming, as Iāve come to expect from Wegmans. It left me with a feeling as if I had inconvenienced her. Although that could have been far from the truth, at any rate, her conduct, even in such a short interaction, did not exhibit the least bit of even the most basic customer service skills.
After the transaction, I respectfully asked for her name, and she provided it. However, as I walked away, she said, āMy manager is right hereā in an unpleasant tone, even though I had not asked to speak with her manager. This comment felt unnecessary and added to the impression that the interaction could have been handled with more professionalism.
Customer service sets the tone for a positive experience, and a warm greeting, eye contact, and friendly demeanor go a long way. I hope this feedback helps ensure Wegmans continues to provide the excellent service it...

While other places around Rochester may have equitable food quality in one area or another, Wegmans has consistently good quality across departments, whether you are shopping economy for everyday items or for a special occasion and need a high end, gourmet item. It is the customer service, and the fact Wegmans will stand behind what they sell, and make things right that keeps me shopping here, even when I could save money going elsewhere. This holds true for their grocery and their ready to eat items, as they did today when the pizza we ordered had a topping incorrect. The employees were happy to correct the mistake in any way that would have made us happy, and when I insisted it wasn't worth making a new pizza over and we were ok with taking it as is, they insisted on subtracting the cost of both the toppings as a discount. I tried to say no, but they smiled and handed us the new price sticker anyway. That is the service worth returning to, especially these days when working in retail grocery must be so stressful.
