The Beef And Butter Company — Local services in Town of Henrietta

While on vacation in Rochester, I was planning a meal for my family. I wanted to have a Brazilian steak option. After visiting the local grocery stores and a couple of meat markets, the prices were outlandish (which I do not blame on the markets but the cost of groceries and inflation, which has grown since late January). I called The Beef and Butter Company, looking for a particular cut of meat. To my delight, the owner/operator suggested that I try a cut closer to what I wanted but much more economical, called "picanha" which I marinated in a Chimichurri sauce. The pieces of meat was fork tender. The owner/operator was so kind and informative when giving me suggestions. I would recommend his product to anyone who is looking for an outstanding quality of meat and exceptional customer service. I look forward to shopping there again when I return to Rochester. Please do yourself a favor - make the trip to The Beef and Butter Company (and the owner who is originally from down state is a HUGE Buffalo Bills fan and knows there is only one "real" New York...

What an amazing find! This was my first time visiting the Beef and Butter Company and I was immediately impressed. The store is spotless, well-organized, and very accessible even for wheelchairs, which really stood out to me. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Erin, who was so approachable, friendly, and an absolute delight to talk with. You can tell she truly cares about the customers and the community. This shop is so much more than just a butcher shop. The shelves are packed with an incredible variety of delicious-looking items and they offer so much —from steak to crab legs and king crab legs to hot subs & cheeseburgers, prepared meals, fudge, snacks, spices, jams, and so much more. It’s like a food lover’s paradise! :) I couldn’t wait to share my discovery with my son, only to find out he’s already a big fan—he’s even ordered their meat plans and raves about them. Now I completely understand why. I’m officially a new customer, and strongly recommend...

I just got back from visiting the Beef and Butter Company for the first time and I am impressed! This family-owned and run meat market (and more) is a wonderful, new, local small business. I was warmly greeted when I walked in the door and immediately offered a sample of their beef—cooked to order, which was tender and delicious. Aside from the fresh meats and signature butters that they offer, they also carry a variety of locally-sourced products. And, they even have a kitchen, offering made-to-order items, as well as pre-pared items. (The steak sub was yummy.)
