I have been going to this store for over a year now and I have never been asked to show the Id’s of the people in the car when it was just me going in the store. I asked to speak to the store owner he just looked at me with an awkward look and didn’t even address himself as the owner and told me that it’s a NY state law for people in the car to show id to. I asked him what about the lady in the car outside and he just replied, “she looked old so we didn’t ask her”. Never been asked this before so I wonder if it’s only a law when they choose to enforce it in there store?
