Appliance World — Attraction in Town of Huntington

I cannot say enough good things about this place and their employees! We are so grateful to have purchased our appliances with them. We looked at a few other appliance stores as well who had decent reviews, but Appliance World exceeded our expectations and the other stores beyond what we could have imagined! Not only did we get very good competitive pricing on our new kitchen appliances, but our salesman, Brendan Biscardi has gone above and beyond in customer service working with us and handling some snags we ran into with our cabinet company. When our cabinet company made our oven hood to match our cabinets they made it too small to fit the vent, despite being given the correct specs. The hood cost quite a bit and we were concerned they wouldn’t redo it, not to mention the further delay in installation it would cause. Brendan immediately went into action ensuring us he would find a solution that worked for us and handled the calls himself with the cabinet company. Thanks to his commitment to us as customers, and his perseverance and dedication to finding a solution to our problem, he was able to find a vent of equal functioning and value to fit into the hood so no delays or further costs to us were incurred. Brendan has proven to be the most exceptional salesman we have ever had the pleasure to work with! Every step of the way he has proven himself to be a courteous, professional and service oriented professional. He even took it upon himself to send a package of dog treats and presents to us for our dog who had gotten very ill shortly after we purchased our appliances. When he heard about our dog’s situation and our concerns a beautiful box arrived at our house that week full of dog goodies and a beautiful note from Brendan and Appliance World letting us know that we were in their thoughts! What store ever does something like that?! To this day we are constantly feeling so grateful that we picked Appliance World for our appliance purchases. They have been the one company through this construction experience that has always exceeded our expectations for the exceptional customer service they offer! From the moment they answer the phone, and through every step of the process, they are in our corner ensuring that every detail of the consumer experience is everything we could ask for and more! Don’t waste your time with any other appliance store! In today's world, we all can purchase appliances at good prices from many stores and/or web sites. At Appliance World, in addition to great prices, we were given additional discounts and rebates, which reduced the cost of our appliances and made the purchase of all the appliances a great deal! In addition to the great prices, Appliance World gave us MORE; this store gave us GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and GREAT CUSTOMER CARE, the kind we didn't get from other stores or web sites!!! Right from the start, when my husband and I walked into the store, we were greeted with friendly service. Simeon, our rep, was friendly, knowledgeable and concerned with providing us what we needed, be it, while we were deciding what to get, and afterwards, when we had already purchased our appliances, but had questions or concerns about what we had purchased. The delivery of all of our appliances was done with care while bringing in the new appliances, and taking out the old ones, which were disposed by their crew. In addition, after the purchase and delivery of the items, and depending on what type of appliances are purchased,(i.e. ovens, convection ovens, induction cook tops etc.), Appliance World provides the customer/client with the MOST DELICIOUS, and the MOST AMAZING dinner/s at their facility. The dinner/s are provided to show the client/customer what can be done with the cooking appliance/s he/she has purchased. Hence, my husband and I attended two such dinners; to say that Head Chef Leora and Chef Matt are PATIENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND AMAZING CHEFS are great understatements!!! My husband and I, along with about 8-10 other guests, all asked questions about the food they cooked, how to use the appliances, and so many other questions. At one time or another we all told them how impressed we were with the food they prepared, and how patient they were with answering all our questions, (even with those who asked the same question someone had asked earlier), and how professional they presented all that they did. Many of us said it was worth purchasing our appliances at Appliance World, just to have the privilege of enjoying the most delicious meal we ever have had, prepared by Head Chef Leora and Chef Mat! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

This May we decided to do a full renovation of our kitchen. We visited Appliance World on 5/11/2019 and finally settled for a full package of 4 BOSCH appliances that included a 24” BOSCH Micro oven combo with speed cook/convection feature in the microwave, BOSCH Cooktop, BOSCH Dishwasher and one Whirlpool refrigerator.

Previously we had a 24” gas oven. Based on Nick’s recommendation (Appliance World Sale Rep), we changed our gas oven to electric. This was an additional cost of $600 to us but we did it anyway. After we finalized the design with our contractors, we requested Appliance World to send the specs over to our contractors who were installing our new cabinets.

Nick assured us time and again not to worry as they work with all contractors very closely.

All this while we were thinking that we will be getting the 24” BOSCH Micro oven combo with speed cook/convection feature in the microwave. Due to these reassurances, I did not check the specs thinking they should be correct.

Now the work started in our kitchen and the appliances were delivered. I signed the delivery order and overlooked comparing the sales order with my original order. While I was checking the manual for the microwave, I realized the blunder done by Appliance World. I was totally aghast. They had sent over 30” specs for the combo oven to my contractor. This 30” combo did not have speed cook and convection in my microwave. I was horrified. My desire to upgrade my microwave was shattered.

I informed this error to Nick and also spoke with the manager Brian. Appliance World is refusing to take any ownership of the wrong specs sent to my contractor. They are asking for an extra $1000.00 to replace my microwave with the one with speed cook / convection.

They have ruined it for me. I would absolutely NEVER recommend Appliance World to any of my friends and family since they have not kept up to their commitment. I am extremely...
