The average clientele (adults) don’t understand that libraries are generally quite places and whispering is the appropriate volume to talk. Many people talk as loud as they please and when confronted or stared at, they just get louder. Like, Seriously? Are you that petty that you can’t just be quiet and polite in a library.
Further, people don’t understand that libraries aren’t places to let your children run around and scream. God forbid you have to parent your child and teach them to be quiet.
Maybe obnoxious reminder signs would help, since people don’t have common courtesy anymore.
