Stopped at this farm today and was amazed at all the delicious things that I purchased. The fruits and veggies were perfect (fennel, strawberries, string beans) and then I picked up a fresh-baked baguette and was hooked-I almost bought butter so I could eat it in the car going home. I then asked about the quiche (asparagus with gruyere) and the wonderful person helping us said it was really good (I am very fussy about my quiche) and as soon as I got home I put it in my oven and I have to say that is was absolutely perfect and delicious-I should have bought two! I bought 7 glass Christmas ornaments for our tree--they are filled with dried wild flowers. How creative!! I kept going back for "just one more ornament" as I remembered people on my list, while munching on the delicious food in the car. It was something out of a Charlie Chaplin or Mr. Bean movie. The lady at the register was patient...
