A GEM of a family-friendly natural park which offers local visitors an easy-to-reach respite in nature. The parking lot sits at the edge of an organic garden around which lies a mowed, grassy expanse which offers both sun and shade and an area with benches under tall Black Locust trees. At the far edges of the field, one can access the well-maintained and marked trails that lead into and through a gently rolling mature oak-hickory woodland with its refreshing mix of native plant species that include Mountain Laurel, Maple-Leaf Viburnum, Wild Sarsparilla and Pipsissewa to name a few.
