Target — Attraction in Town of Huntington

I just got home from visiting Target in Huntington today. Now I know why this place is always, always crowded! I was so impressed with the younger people that work here in general!! I have not come across so many pleasant, cheerful, helpful and respectful group of people! The store was very clean to begin with, upon walking in there was a young girl wiping down shopping carts, but not just the handle and giving it a once over, she was diligently cleaning and wiping down every surface of the cart! So impressive!! And she was smiling and being cheerful I couldn't help but go out of my way to thank her for her work. There were two young guys unpacking and stocking shelves, I stopped to ask them a question, they went above and beyond to stop and help me, I was shocked, they were so helpful and respectful. It didn't end there, he made a quick radio call to one of the cashiers and told me she will take care of me, when I asked which check out counter do I go to, he said no worries she will meet you, and sure enough as I was approaching the check out lanes, she came out with a big smile, said hello and proceeded to open a lane to check out just for me. I walked away happy and stunned, completely forgetting I was in New York!! To all the workers there today, I applaud you and Thank You! ...

The store of Target itself was really well and nice. They had good products and the employees there are very kind and helpful. Hiwever, the Starbucks staff are very rude. I came in and had a lot of orders because of my family. I wanted to do them a kind gesture. My younger cousins credit card wasn’t working and so the lady behind the cashier started yelling at us. When I ordered, I had many orders and the lady kept on yelling at me. Many customers were looking at me and rolling their eyes because the lady refused to cancel my order after I emailed her kindly to do so, since I had to call my cousin to ask what he wanted. Even after that, I ordered AND apologized for the inconvenience. She just stared at me with a dirty look and huffed. She didn’t even give me my receipt and they took very long on my order. The person who’s gave the drinks purposely placed my drinks on a different section and they forgot to label my drink which led to a small debate between another customer and I over if it was our drink or not. I was visiting from California, and although this Target store is very large, it had very bad service and manners. I really expected a better...

Today a sales associate Bridget went way above and beyond to help me locate an item I was hoping to purchase. I have been a very loyal Target customer for many years and recently started shopping at the Huntington location instead of the Hicksville location where I usually shop. Since Hicksville has made changes to the store I find it very difficult and uncomfortable to shop so I switched to the Huntington location. Normally I find most employees to be somewhat helpful finding things, but this was the first time I had ever been so impressed with a target employee. Bridget was probably the most helpful and best Target employee I have ever come across in all my years of shopping at various Target locations, so much so that I made it a point to tell the manager how wonderful she was. Being a business owner myself she is a person that had I ever encountered her on an interview I would hire her on the spot. Thanks to Bridget I had a wonderful shopping experience and the Huntington location. This will be my new Target location from now on! Hopefully they don't change the store the way the Hicksville...
