Ethan Allen — Local services in Town of Huntington

I absolutely had the best experience dealing with Ethan Allen in Huntington Station. My husband and I were a little nervous updating our living room. Having lived with our furniture for quite some time we were more than ready for an update. Upon arriving at the store we met Gerri and we could not have been given a better designer. She came to the house, did measurements, listened to what I thought might work, looked at the house for my style and color scheme and came up with fabulous ideas. After loving the design, we met at the store to go over furniture styles, pieces that would work, and fabrics. She was spot on!! We spent an incredible amount of time picking out each fabric. Her patience and expertise was very much appreciated. We were so thrilled with the furniture selection and the process involved in picking each individual piece that we went back for her advice on an area rug. Again, with her amazing "eye" and advice, we picked the perfect rug to compliment the beautiful furniture. I sent her pics of the furniture & rug after it was delivered and she was even kind enough to offer advice on the proper rug placement. This whole process from start to finish was incredible. She made everything so easy and stress free. Not having met Gerri before, we were thrilled that we were lucky enough that she was our designer. I am beyond happy with my experience....

From the first meeting with Joyce at Ethan Allen in Huntington, NY to the the final day of receiving our orders, we were happy every step of the process. Joyce is a professional with a lot of knowledge in design, but more valuable is her ability to listen to us and understand the vision we had. We met with her at the store 2 times, and each time she just captured exactly what we were looking to do as far as updating our current home decor but to bring it up to the "times" so to speak. We had decorated our home 18 years prior, and although still beautiful it was a bit tired and on the darker side. Joyce helped to pick out fabrics for window treatments, area rugs for our dining room and bedroom. We are very satisfied and extremely happy with the way the house turned out. All of the contractor we worked with measuring and installing of carpets and window treatments, the delivery people for the furniture - all professional and a pleasure to talk to and have work at the house. So yes, Ethan Allen is one place we will go back to again and...

I worked w/ Dina in selecting new couches for our great room. Although initially I thought I wanted a sectional and she worked up a design w/ that in mind, when we changed completely to wanting 2 couches, she was very gracious, non-plussed and took it all in stride. We even changed the selected style and she handled it all w/ tremendous patience. We never felt rushed, and when we left I felt confident that w/ Dina's help we made the right decision. The couches arrived much earlier than expected (almost a month earlier), and I was thrilled. Delivery crew had to carry them up 3 flights since they were too big for the elevator and they did so w/o a grunt. They are super comfortable and look fantastic. Bottom line... they are PERFECT and...
