āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø A DREAM COME TRUE
From the very first moment, Lotus Bridal created magic. I found them through a client who raved about her experience and after reading all the glowing Google reviews, I knew I had to check it out. And Iām soooo grateful I did.
From start to finish, everything was seamless. From booking my appointment, to having a quick call with Lexi to chat before finding the dress, to curating a personalized bridal lookbook that made me feel like they truly understood my style and vision- it was all amazing. I walked in a little nervous⦠and walked out with the dress of my dreams. Iām not exaggerating when I say: it was the first dress I tried on! I showed one inspo picture and Niko pulled the exact dress of my dreams. I tried others just for fun, similar to the ones from my look book, but my heart knew from that very first moment.
The entire experience was full of laughter, tears, and love. I came with my tribe & Lotus treated us all with love. My sister couldnāt be there in person, so she joined via FaceTime- and then photoshopped herself into our group photo for good measure š
And Niko⦠where do I even begin? From the second we met, she made me feel like the most important person in the room. Her warmth, honesty, and genuine excitement were contagious and comforting - exactly what I needed for such a special and emotional decision. She listened to what I wanted, encouraged me when I needed a little confidence, helped me get In and out of dresses (I hate trying stuff on š ) and guided me with so much care and expertise. I never felt rushed or pressured. Instead, I felt seen, supported, and celebrated.
Lotus Bridal LI is an absolute gem. & If youāre looking for a bridal consultant who truly cares, listens, and helps you feel beautiful inside and out- ask for Niko aka Nikolette. Sheās absolute magic. āØ
Thank you for giving me a memory Iāll hold in my heart forever.
With so much love, Sam PS- Iāll come back and show how spot On they were with pulling my dress from my inspo pic! I need to wait until after I get married to post those in case My snoopy fiancĆ© tries to get a sneak peak! Lol....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came to Lotus in Mineola genuinely excited to find my wedding dress. On my first visit, Tara, my consultant, was helpful and I left feeling optimistic. We picked out a few dresses I liked, and I scheduled a follow-up visit a few days later to get opinions from close friends.
Unfortunately, the second experience left a bad taste. Taraās demeanor shifted ā she responded curtly whenever my friends asked normal questions (like whether sleeves could be added), making us feel as if these are answers we should already know somehow. We all noticed it and felt uncomfortable but brushed it off.
What really sealed the decision not to purchase from Lotus was what happened next. I explained that I needed to get my motherās opinion on the photos/videos of the dresses (she has health issues that prevented her from coming with us to the store) and that I wanted to try on one more dress ā one I had previously felt the most bridal in but hadnāt had a chance to re-try. It was available at their NYC location. Rather than support this, Tara seemed visibly annoyed and pushed me to decide on the spot, asking, āWell, how do you feel in the dresses you tried on today?ā as if that should be enough. She left the room, and shortly after, a manager came out to pressure me further, implying I needed to make a decision that day because my wedding was ācloseā ā still about four months away.
It was clear Tara had vented her frustration to management and they decided to tag-team the pressure. The entire interaction made our whole group feel uncomfortable, and it felt like they were prioritizing their sales goals over basic respect and empathy.
This was supposed to be a joyful and emotional decision. I ended up purchasing the dress I was curious about from another boutique, where I was treated with professionalism, patience, and kindness ā even if it meant paying a little more. I couldnāt justify giving my money to a business that made me feel so dismissed and pressured during such a personal moment.
Lotus: Please train your staff to support brides rather than push them. This is already a high-stress time ā your job is to ease that,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI cannot say enough nice things about Lotus Bridal and especially about my consultant- Nicole. My wedding is in two months and I need a dress that is modest (nothing see-through, no cleavage or shoulders showing). This was incredibly difficult to find, especially considering my time crunch. I came to Lotus Bridal feeling discouraged, and like the Bridal shops didn't understand the style I needed. Nicole immediately changed that. She is so kind and friendly and listened to everything I said. She found a dress that I loved, but I hesitated to buy it as I would need to alter some things and wear a body suit underneath to make it fully covered. Nicole didn't pressure me at all. She was honest with me about what could and couldn't be done in my time frame, and offered suggestions to make the dress perfect. Nicole went above and beyond. She scheduled me for a follow up visit the next morning and suggested I bring a body suit to try with the dress so I knew exactly what it would look like. The next morning, I felt so overwhelmed that I decided to come to my appointment alone, no entourage. Nicole felt like a friend. She brought the dress back for me to try on, and gave me the best news I could hear in that moment. One of the dress makers, Ellen, was in store and could fully customize a dress to be exactly what I wanted, within my time frame. Together, Nicole and Ellen had me try on a beautiful skirt with a top that I loved, and we discussed how to make the perfect dress for me. Ellen's amazing designing saved the day, and Nicole is the one that made everything happen. If she had not suggested I come back for the follow up appointment, I probably would have settled for a dress that I didn't fully love. Now, I have a beautiful, perfect, custom dress for my wedding day. Thank you so much...
