Long Island Bagel Cafe — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

Went in to order on 12-5-21 before 7am . Four ladies working not one greeted me or said I’ll be with you in a minute but continued to walk by me at the order counter . One employee thought cleaning the windows was more important at the time than helping a customer who’s spending money In the establishment . Finally after 5 minutes of standing there waiting I was approached by the lady who cleaned the window with an attitude and asked”what I wanted “ not how can I help you . After she started my egg order she proceeded to ring me up without asking if there was anything else I needed , so I had to quickly ask for bagels in which she questioned if I asked for 8 like it was a new number in the numeric scale . Finally after the $22 total was paid I asked for a plastic bag to hold my two paper bags and was barked at they were sold out . This establishment has only two very good employees one girl with glasses who was working this particular day and a younger man in his early 20”s that’s excellent and always on point other than that everyone else needs retraining in customer service . So beware you will be treated with attitude and nastiness . Not a fan anymore of this place not only outrageous prices but to get treated poorly on top of everything else ,...

Called in for a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel toasted with pepper and ketchup on it. Its my typical order ordering from the deli and for the last couple of weeks multiple times order has been messed up. So today I speak to an employee to address the issue cause once again its wrong. Michelle the employee takes the sandwich so hard that she Flings the bagel out of her hand. Freaks out and screams that it is toasted, I then tell the associate it's missing pepper and ketchup as well. associate freaks put and was very rude. I told her that is very wrong to speak to a customer who obviously has an issue with the order and is spending their money. Then stated maybe I shouldn't come here Told Me basically not to Come Back .I then told her you obviously aren't the owner cause you don't care. Then told me I'm not the owner and I do not care. Be careful when you're ordering from here. Owner is not there or present, nor is a manager. No Management. Basically hires kids to run the whole place and it shows. So the bagels here are great. The food is top notch. What I have a major problem with is the staff. That's not to say that they're not nice or amiable people, they are BUT 85 to 90% of the time they get my order wrong! I ALWAYS get the same thing it's a simple breakfast sandwich but they always forget something! Either the ketchup or they add cheese when I didn't ask for it (which I never do) or they forget the bacon. It's always something. It's incredibly annoying. However, I know why it happens, it's because when they go to the grill to cook your food they "hang out" and chit chat with each other and lose focus of the order even though they wrote it down! I've watched them make errors and have corrected them MULTIPLE times. I shouldn't have to do that. If you only had one person at the grill cooking the orders then that wouldn't happen. So I only go there now when I'm really in need of a breakfast sandwich that's really close by. Otherwise I'll go somewhere else where the food may not be as good but at least they'll get my...
