Lost my grandma's birthday present. I ordered her a present on Nordstrom Rack, which said "available for pickup in store tomorrow". I assumed this meant they had it in stock. I paid for the item, and drove to the store at the specified pick-up time (2:30PM).
That's when we were informed that the item was in fact shipping from Westchester, and the employee did not know where it was but "that it should be there by the end of the day". The employee was a clueless 18 year old in general, but can't hold that against a retail establishment I guess.
We came back 4 hours later, and still no gift. The frustrating part is that I drove past Westchester to come here, and I don't understand why the Nordstrom website doesn't just tell you when an item is IN STOCK like every other retail store. I could have picked it up from Westchester myself had I known.
Terrible experience, really demotivating to spend hours picking something out for someone you love and having the moment pass by like this. I hope Nordstrom takes a serious look at their policies, because they've certainly lost a customer for life here. The employees were not even apologetic and didn't offer any resolution other than "IONO".
If you're shopping in person I'm sure this store is fine, but I'd absolutely caution against trusting anything you're told online about what is in stock or what is...

From the moment I walked in, I felt like I hit the shopping jackpot. The store is spotless 🧼, beautifully organized, and somehow manages to feel both high-end and super approachable — the perfect blend for a Rack run!
But what really made this visit unforgettable was the A+ team working there. 🙌 Carla deserves a round of applause 👏 for cultivating such an incredible staff — kind, helpful, and genuinely happy to assist.
Shoutout to Nathan, Maggie, and Lacie — each of them went above and beyond to help me track down items and made the whole experience feel personal. 💫 You could tell they actually care. The SEs were on their game, and the vibe was positive across the board. Store manager Jessica Miller and manager Juliette were also absolutely amazing — gracious, professional, and clearly leading by example. 💼🌟
The selection was 🔥 (from designer pieces to everyday steals), the fitting rooms were clean and spacious, and checkout was fast and smooth — even with a full cart! 🛒💳
Honestly, this location is a shopaholic’s playground 🎢👜 and a gem for the Manhasset community. Thank you, Nordstrom Rack, for turning retail therapy into a full-on experience!
Can’t wait to come back 💖✨...
Read moreI went into the gender neutral side of the changing room with my girlfriend so we can try on stuff in separate stalls and this elderly worker decided to come in and direct some random man into the stall my girlfriend was in and started banging LOUDLY and yelling at her to get out so the other man can use the stall. I went out and confronted her and told her that she was being loud and rude and needed to calm down. She ignored me and kept banging and yelling at my girlfriend to come out and said because the other stalls were closed this was only mens side now. There was no sign about this and looked like she was just making up rules while clearly ignoring me telling her to calm down. Absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL. You need to learn how to treat your customers better and put SIGNS UP if you are going to change the rules of the fitting room. I think she was having some kind of power trip and needs to learn how to be professional. Who hires these terrible unprofessional people who think it is okay to just start banging on the doors and yelling at people in the changing room. Honestly who does this? Please get rid of this old woman who works here she shouldn't be...
