I seldom if ever leave reviews. Rarely, when I feel someone is truly deserving, I will leave one. In this case, I certainly feel that way for Nicole at Kohler.
Many months ago, I went to Kohler in Manhasset and was “helped” By someone who didn’t help at all. It totally turned me off and made me not come back for many months. But since it’s a store closer to me, I gave it a second chance and that’s when I met Nicole. With her help, I was able to purchase everything I need for bathrooms that were deeming to be a very difficult purchase to make for.
Nicole is utmost professional and very knowledgeable. She knows her products very well. She was not pushy at. She gave her opinion when needed, but then backed off. She knows specs off the top of her head. It’s very annoying when you go to a store and ask a sales person a question and they have you waiting as they’re looking at the computer as though they’re learning themselves for the first time. That was not the case with Nicole. She had a lot of helpful insight. She was extremely patient. She even helped me with returns from another Kohler. She then organized all my receipts. And then, she proceeded to help with other parts of the house that I need guidance for.
All this has been very appreciated. I would definitely tell anybody to see Nicole when going to the Kohler store in Manhasset. Thank you! Will be back for our kitchen and lower...
Read moreI visited the Kohler store in Manhasset around 5pm with my partner, hoping to shop for an entire bathroom and kitchen setup. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing.
Upon entering, two sales representatives were stationed at the entrance. They looked at me but didn’t offer a greeting or any acknowledgment. As we continued to browse, yet another staff member walked by us without so much as a hello or offer of help. My partner tried to engage by saying hello to another sales rep, who simply smirked in return. We stayed in the store for 35 minutes, looking around seriously and ready to make a significant purchase—but not once did anyone approach us to offer assistance or even basic customer service.
I’m especially disheartened as someone who uses a wheelchair. It’s hard not to wonder whether that fact played a role in the way we were overlooked. I would like to believe otherwise, but the complete lack of engagement from multiple staff members makes it difficult not to draw that conclusion.
We ended up taking our business elsewhere—a place where we felt seen, respected, and valued as customers. I hope Kohler takes this feedback seriously and invests in better training for their team, because no one should feel invisible in a store, especially when they’re...
Read moreCame to the store back in October 2023 to purchase few items for kitchen and bathroom. Everything went ok. We were promised that one item „bath filler” in back order and we should have it within 10 weeks ( December). It’s now June 2024 and the company refuses to help us finding solutions. We have to wait until August now. They cannot give us different product without canceling original order resulting in spending more money. We spoke with showroom manager J and sales person L. Nothing is being done and now the company have been holding over $2k in their account earning interest to them not me. We are speechless with all the empty promises from management. If it’s not in stock don’t buy it you...
