Broadway Commons is a convenient shopping destination that offers a decent variety of stores and dining options. It’s a smaller mall, which makes it easy to navigate without feeling overwhelming. The addition of entertainment options like the movie theater and other attractions adds to its appeal for families and casual outings. Parking is generally ample and accessible, which is a definite plus.
However, the mall does have its drawbacks. Some areas feel underutilized, and the overall selection of stores isn’t as extensive or high-end as other shopping centers in the area. Certain sections could use a refresh to make the space more inviting and modern. Additionally, while the food court has a few solid options, it could benefit from more diverse and unique choices to draw in a wider crowd.
Overall, Broadway Commons is a convenient and functional mall for everyday shopping and entertainment, but with some updates and a broader store selection, it could truly shine. Still worth a visit for those...
Read moreWe love this mall. It is smaller and has fewer stores than Roosevelt Field but it has so much to offer for families, especially with little children. I love that Target is part of the mall because I can do my errands and have the kiddos run around after in the playground upstairs. It has just the right variety of stores (clothing, accessories, shoes, cosmetics, gadgets) as well as eatery options (Buffalo Wild Wings, Blaze Pizza, Panera, On the Border, Arby's, Shah's, Sbarro, Subway, Kung Fu Tea, Cinnabon, Auntie Anne's). There is also a Drive Thru Starbuck's and Chick Fil A in the mall complex. Round 1 Entertainment has been a great addition to the mall. The movie theater is a bonus and for Ikea lovers, like me, it's wonderful having it in the same building! Rarely is it ever super crowded. If you want to shop for big brand names, this is not your place but if you enjoy walking around a mall, having options for kiddos and appreciate a slower approach to shopping, then Broadway Mall is...
Read moreAlarm systems are mandatory in every facility. This mall is known to have their alarm bells go off every now and then. People understand that you need to conduct frequent fire drills to make sure the system responds promptly in the event of an emergency. It’s understandable to conduct the drills at least when there are no customers probably in the early hours with the least amount of traffic. But if you’re around, be prepared for that screeching noise to burst right thru your ears while you shop or hop. Now here comes the worst part. Arrived home last night where I live not to far away only to hear their alarm went on again. Slept thru the night and woke up this morning only to hear the alarm bells still keep ringing. Somebody in that mall needs to take their jobs seriously. I hope there will be others like me who have witnessed this issue and report to the right...
