Scott Marshall Jewelers — Attraction in Town of Oyster Bay

Scott is the BEST! Saying that is an understatement. I first walked into his store about a month before my engagement, with no idea of what I wanted or where to begin, not only did he steer me in the right direction but he was HONEST. (Honesty is something you don't find much of in the industry anymore.) He told me what looked good, and what didn't, what would keep its value, and what wouldn't even if it cost him. He worked tirelessly with me until I made the decision on the ring that I wanted. When the final decision had come this only left us with about two weeks. He started working on it right away!

Then I made his life a little harder, I became unhappy about the diamond not having a laser inscription on it 2 weeks prior to the date. When he saw I was unhappy he rush shipped it in with his wife to the city to make sure it was done in time. Not only that but he changed out the center setting to fit the kind of diamond in that I wanted into the original band that I wanted. All to make the perfect custom ring that I wouldn't find anywhere else.

Not only did he do all of this, but he did it at NO EXTRA CHARGE, even when it cost him more out of pocket. And on top of all of this he still had the ring completed almost an entire week early incase we needed to make anymore modifications. Which jeweler is willing to do all of that for their customer within one week?

I cannot boast enough of this mans qualities, he is honest, respectable, and has an eye for design. Not only is he a jeweler but he is an artist and sculptor and has won many awards in design for various jewelry he has designed in the past.

Awesome place. Came in to get a diamond ring of mine that was loose on its setting tightened. The owner looked at it and recommended a second opinion. I waited 15 min for the settings expert to show. He looked at it and was told that the Diamond, although seated and tightened properly, required further tightening along the lower half of the prongs. I was allowed to watch while he worked on it. Was very patient and careful as to not scratch the diamond or the ring itself. 5-10 min later, he was done. The diamond no longer moved on its setting. I DON'T TRUST ANY JEWELER EXCEPT FOR SCOTT MARSHALL! I come all the way from Brooklyn to see him and it is well worth the trip. If you don't want to be fooled by dishonest jewelers elsewhere, you should use Scott Marshall. I learned this lesson the hard way. He is a very HONEST and knowledgeable jeweler. He is a true gem. I bought designer earrings and rings from him and they are quality pieces at very reasonable prices. He also appraised a lot of my jewelry at a low cost.
