Timi Sushi — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

Went there to dine in around half an hour before closing, we asked if they were still taking orders, they said they are and sat us down. First we asked for some hot green tea which came very cold. Then our server came to get our orders. We ordered our appetizer, my friend wanted to order the crispy spicy tuna roll but she wanted 12 pieces instead of the 6 pieces that normally come. Our server said she wouldn’t be able to do that so my friend said she wanted to make two orders. The server immediately gave her incredibly judgy looks for eating double the regular amount that came. Then when I said I wasn’t ready to order yet, she gave a frustrated sigh, she came back literally a minute later to ask for my order and rushed me to make a decision. She also kept looking at our table to see when we were going to be finished. They locked the bathrooms half an hour before closing time and overall the service was really bad. Will not be going...

I haven't posted a review for some time now. But this meal deserves a review. I was totally shocked that a $70 order was covered in saran wrap when I received the delivery. Maybe you can do that with burgers but not sushi. Is it even health illegal to use saran wrap as a covering for delivery? As for the quality for the food, the pieces were 50% smaller but the price was 30% higher. They should rename the restaurant to Mini Sushi. I guess I'm going back to home made meals which is 110% safer and 500% cheaper. I don't mind paying the money if the food is half decent, this was garbage. Had the salmon teriyaki bento box. Its pretty good, solid price. The atmosphere is solid, the building interior is well designed. Service is good. tea is good

Siu mai is fine, but its the really soft frozen kind. All the other bentos ive had use the same ones, just more firm.

Salmon was good. No complaints.

California rolls were good, but werent packed tight enough. If youre bad with chopsticks you may unroll them.

Salad is good, but the sauce tastes a bit different from other japanese salad dressings. Dont know how to describe it, but still tastes good.

Rice is solid quality.
