Regal Aviation Mall — Attraction in Town of Queensbury

Well reasonably priced casual movie night is officially a thing of the past.

-Purchased "discount" tickets from school at $7 each. Still charged an additional fee when we got to the theater since they are now a luxury theater. Mind you this was for a standard 2d movie.

-Found out cinema will be charging the school even more, so the discount price will be a whole lot less discounted pretty soon. Just looked up the standard price of the tickets without getting them from the school. Over $12...

-Assigned seating? Really? What possible benefit could this have. What happened to casual first come first serve. Pick where you want once you get in there. I'm not booking a room at the Ritz Carlton. I'm watching a couple hour movie. Ridiculous rules and conventions like this are entirely unnecessary and add too much structure to what should be a casual thing.

In summary, the movie theater is very comfortable. Reclinable seats, tons of leg room. Lots of room between rows. It's certainly nicer. But really who was asking for that? Some of us prefered it the old way, cheap and acceptable comfort. Isn't it about the movie after all? Not all this jazzed up seating. I would have liked it allot better if it was an optional upgrade, not forced. This is the equivalent of an airline replacing all seating with...

A Truly Outstanding Experience at Regal Queensbury!

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the exceptional service provided by Alex and Patrick during my recent visit to Regal Cinema in Queensbury. From the moment I arrived, both of them went above and beyond to make the experience smooth, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable.

Alex was incredibly friendly and professional—he greeted guests with a warm smile and handled everything with care and attention to detail. It’s rare to come across someone who is not only efficient but also clearly enjoys making guests feel comfortable.

Patrick was just as impressive. His enthusiasm and helpful attitude were contagious. Whether answering questions or assisting at the counter, he brought an energy that added to the overall positive atmosphere of the theater.

It’s people like Alex and Patrick who elevate a simple movie outing into something memorable. Regal Queensbury is lucky to have them, and I’ll definitely be coming back again—partly for the films, but mostly because of the top-notch service they provide.

My husband and I love coming to this theater and we usually have a good experience and the staff is usually friendly. We took the kids to see a movie my son has been wanting to see after they got out of school today. We basically had the theater all to ourselves which was nice however, when the movie got over one of the staff members came into the theater and just stared at us and watched us like he was keeping tabs on us and didn't say a word. I just looked at him and waited for him to say something to us but he didn't say a word..he eventually left the theater. Then, as we were leaving the theater the staff including the manager were just staring at us giving us dirty looks and not saying a word and made us feel very uncomfortable..I am not really sure what the issue was but if they had a problem with us they should have just said something rather than give us dirty looks and stare at us making us feel uncomfortable. I don't appreciate it.. Not sure if I want to go to this theater anymore if the staff including the manager is going to make us feel...
