Hobson Window, Inc — Attraction in Town of Red Hook

I had several new windows installed in November with frames that had been damaged while in storage before installation. A supervisor who came to inspect towards the end of the installation was professional and called this out. Michelle, the employee who seems to do everything, was out sick, so that the treatment I received (despite the supervisor identifying the problem) was unprofessional. I was treated like a "complaining Karen" despite that I had a legitimate problem. In mid-February I finally got the new frame pieces installed. I now have windows that are caulked, don't leak, and lock, unlike the ones I lived with for a few months.

I know that things are difficult right now for everyone, with supply chain issues etc. But that no one ordered the correct new parts and no one told Michelle to order them when she returned from leave is amazing. It's only becuase we stopped in the store to find out the status that the new parts were ordered. Michelle is great, but the other woman and the owner told me that I'm 'rude' and one even hung up on me.

I do hope that they get it together and learn to see things from the customer's perspective. And follow through on correcting problems that arise. And Michelle's salary, whatever it is,...

We have nothing but excellent things to say about Hobson Window. We had two windows replaced in our home. Both ordering and installation were smooth. The guys did a lovely job cleaning up and left our home better than they found it. Additionally we had them look at our "new" front door that was purchased and installed a year prior by another contractor. It was not installed correctly and thus never fully shut. Hobson sent someone over and they spent half a day trying to force it into place but admitted he was not sent with the right tools or briefing of the issue. To our surprise he came back a week later fully prepared to fix the door and succeeded. In our eyes this company went above and beyond to fix it and now we have a fully functional door. Hobson Window Inc. did and excellent job replacing the windows in our house. Kyle, their sales representative, was very knowable and very helpful throughout the decision-making process. He always got back to me quickly with answers to any of my questions. The price for the windows and installation was very competitive and Hobson was the lowest of the quotes we received. I was also very impressed with the team that did the actual instillation of my 12 windows. The team was efficient, communicative and cleaned up very well afterwards. I really like the features of the Majestic premium vinyl widows that they installed and the installation went off without a hitch.
