Peconic Kitchen And Bath — Attraction in Town of Riverhead

This is a local gem for tile selection, tile and counter top design (granite, quartz, marble, etc) as well as kitchen and bath design. We have been customers for almost 30 years and thought we were done 2 years ago with a new bathroom design. Unfortunately with a total house fire; we were thrown back into design but with the added pressure of time factors and numerous rooms to consider all at once.

Dave Pence has a professional and accommodating staff. Agnes is the most efficient and creative tile and counter top designer that I have ever met. During your initial meeting, you will notice how serious she is while she is taking meticulous notes. Give her a week and you will be pleasantly surprised at how she is able to come up with items to meet your ideas. She is a keen listener and has a computer memory. She is amazing at combining your ideas with so many tiles. She is current with trends as well as knowledgeable on what will remain in style for years to come.

In today's world, everyone seems to need to be reminded to get you the information. Agnes, Viola and Julia are prompt with calling you back with the information. They are highly organized. I have called them requesting additional tile and even though I had 8 different orders, Agnes always knew exactly which one I needed and told me that I didn't need to look up the name. Julia assisted me with a vessel sink and found me one in a matter of 20 minutes that was beautiful and pleased my husband with the price.

Their tile installers are precise with their cuts - no need to worry about corners not matching where walls meet. Everything is level. The workers keep their work area neat and don't leave you with a mess. I also appreciate that Peconic permits you to return with a mild restocking fee any unopened tile you don't use. Agnes works everything out perfectly so there is very little overage. However, I did change my mind on a tile after ordering it and she accepted it back without any problem. Be careful with this when ordering from others North Fork tile stores. Some tile places will have you order too much and won't take back the extra tile. When our home is completed, I will post pictures on their Facebook page. My experience has been with bathroom and kitchen design as well as complete floor design. Agnes was most helpful with designing my "marble rugs" in my grey wood tile downstairs floors. I wanted something slightly contemporary and more casual in design rather than formal elegance....she was able to combine my oak staircase color with the gray tile beautifully. Very artistic and timeless.

Dave certainly has the "old neighborhood business" approach and knows how to treat his customers. It is apparent from my frequent drop ins that the staff communicate well. No matter whom is on; all can answer me about my orders and work. A very efficient company. I also appreciate their honesty. If they can't meet my time demands, they are straight forward.

We just had our bathroom remodeled by Peconic Kitchen and Bath. We are thrilled with the way our bathroom came out. We first met with Agnes who is awesome. She helped us choose tiles, cabinets and countertops. Her expertise in the field is beyond valuable. She came to our home to determine what we would need and she recommended finishes we would like. She observed our taste and was very helpful to us. She kept us informed each step of the way and her recommendations were greatly appreciated. Dave stopped in every day and organized the work being done and kept us updated for each step of the way. All workers that came to our home were wonderful. We highly recommend Peconic for any work you need done. Now we are looking forward to our next project with them, our 2nd bathroom! This is the place to go for any remodel. My wife and I decided on doing a rehab on our kitchen including having our cabinets sprayed and the countertops replaced. Our painter/contractor recommended Peconic Kitchen and Bath for the countertops replacement. He said they do great work. We walked into the show room and were immediately greeted by Maria who really went all out showing us what seemed like countless samples, listening to our likes and dislikes until she and my wife were able to narrow down the choices to just a few samples. We those samples home to check them out in our space and choose the best one. Maria was very thorough making sure we knew about costs and timelines, she made sure we were informed throughout the process and even when she was unavailable, she made sure Vincent took care of us to schedule our appointments and answer any questions. On install day when Anthony and Brayan arrived they were polite and professional, they prepped the job site well and covered all our floors. I couldn’t have been more impressed with their attention to detail and the time they spent making sure the job was done correctly.
