It was the best for my son when he was 2, 3, 4 and even now when he is 5. They have the coolest & largest built set of model trains. The best thing is that it's kind of hands on. There are buttons you can push and something happens, like ferris wheel turns, carousel turns on and plays music, wind turbines turn. They also have step stools so that 2-3year olds can see all the happenings. There are a number of models you can play with, like stack barrels and stack ice cubes, coal excalator. My son is into trains and all that mechanic/engineered movement, we used to stay there for hours. My daughter who is 2 years younger could stay there for no longer than one hour though. Read moreWhile not a huge Museum, there is a decent amount of things to see, such as two beautifully detailed 'O' Gauge Layouts, both equipped with dozens of visitor activated Accessories via buttons placed along the outside of the Layouts. The buttons especially great if you have small Children with you. They also have the 1964 Worlds Fair Train there, and give rides around the property. In addition to the Layouts and the ride on Train, there are two static displays, of the two, you can walk in the Caboose, and read about its history, and the History of Railroad Cabooses.
