This is definitely the most racist and discriminatory restaurant I have attended. I went there with my husband and kid. As soon as the host saw us, I immediately got those discrimination vibes from him. I asked for a table and he said all he had available was the tented area off to the side. I asked if there was any seating available near the water and he said no that they had a lot of reservations. I asked how long was the wait time, he said he couldn’t tell me that, so I said I’d take the seat off to the side which, at the time, was empty. So then the waitress takes us to a table with 4 seats and the host gets mad and tells her “don’t seat them there, it’s for a group of 3”. So then she puts us at another table and he gets even angrier and tells her “don’t put them there either”. Then he walks over and points to a table of 2, and tells the waitress to sit us there (even though we needed a table for 3). They gave us an extra chair and we sat down. Then the group of 3 the host was talking about turned out to be 1 young girl with 2 older women. One of the older women clearly didn’t want to sit there and she went to speak to the host and before she even finished her sentence the host said “come I’ll switch you I have a better seat for you” and all of this happened in less than 2 mins so it’s not like someone up and left and a table became available. The host went and gave these women a better seat after blatantly telling us that there were no other seats available. Then, my husband was so upset about the incident, he mentioned to the waitress about the other group getting better seats and her response was “that’s not my department”. Then my husband repeats himself and her reply this time was “he (as in the host) has his methods (as in how he seats people)”. We were so dumbfounded by that response that my husband didn’t want to stay and eat there anymore but I was hungry and desperate especially after waiting around 15-20 mins for a parking spot to become free. And the cherry on top? After I asked for the check, the waitress comes back and says to me “where’s your card (as in credit card)?” Never in my whole life of dining out has a waitress ever approached me asking for my card like that. Needless to say, it was the first time in my life, I’ve given less than a 15% tip. And as we were leaving, I looked down into the area where the tables are near the water and there was definitely a certain “type” of people allowed to dine there. By far, the worst, most uncomfortable experience I’ve had at a restaurant. I’ve had bad service before, but bad service is better than discriminatory service. Also needless to say, I’m never going back there and made it a point to write a bad and HONEST review. Lastly, the experience being there was so bad, reviewing the food just...
Read moreToday my friends and I went through a very unpleasant situation at this establishment. There was an error billing the account, which so far is fine because mistakes happen! The problem was when I requested the receipt of the transaction to be able to sign with the correct amount, as they had given me the erased receipt. I'm a methodical person, I work in accounting and I also own a retail store in Southampton, in other words, I know how billing systems work (in my case I work with square) and it's not in my nature to sign something, no matter how simple it is, without it being correct! Perhaps they are not prepared to deal with people like me, the height of unpreparedness was the waitress coming to the table raising her voice, so rude that I had no reaction, and I would never raise my voice to her, because thank God, I was very well educated by my parents. Another gentleman intervened in the conversation, I don't know if it was the manager or the owner, also in a harsh way and unprepared asking me to trust him… what? The issue at that time was not about “trust” but about your establishment having good employees, working correctly and being able to make a simple transaction on the system. I think it's not that difficult... I think what they didn't understand is that the problem was not the undue charge, or the fact that the second charge was made and also the return of the first, the problem for me was that they gave me an erased receipt. Honestly, it was a disappointment because I don't always go to this restaurant because I live in Southampton, but it was a place I had a fondness for and also recommended to friends and family. I decided to send this feedback, first to warn that establishments like yours must have employees or even the owner, prepared to deal with different types of situations and people (for example, methodical person like me), and also to highlight my dissatisfaction with the treatment especially the waitress (unfortunately I don't know her name to point here), she proved to be an impolite person. From what I understood, she thought that the problem for me was the amounts blocked on my card by the wrong transaction, which I even understand because this must be the reality that she knows but thank God that it's not my case. I think the learning that remains for all of us is that we must be careful with the way we treat customers, we also have to be careful with prejudgments, I say this because I am also a business owner and I know that a dissatisfied customer has a much greater reach than a...

May 10, 2025. I rated this restaurant poorly because of the poor accomodation for wheelchair bound person and the hospitality from the host.
We made our reservation a few weeks in advance and a few days before our reservation we have not received a confirmation. We called the restaurant and there was no record. On the second attempt of making the reservation I asked once more regarding accessibility, I was reassured that they were.
We arrive for our 5:30 pm reservation, and was asked when and how I made the reservation,... they had an issue locating our reservation and during our long wait other people seemed to have the same issues. The host walked away without informing me how long was the wait, or if he found the reservation.
Upon his return I asked if there was another entrance. I informed him that my husband was wheelchair bound and needed assistance. Since I had 2 young children with me I was not able to help my husband. He said it's on the other side. He proceeded yet again on walking away without any other instructions. My husband eventually was able to enter the restaurant 15 minutes later.
More than an hour of wait, we were finally seated. Our waiter was courteous, we enjoyed his service.
By the time we left the restaurant it was dark. The "accessible entrance" was NOT well lit and honestly not safe. My husband end up falling off his chair and hurting himself. This is honestly one of my biggest complaints and concerns. Concerns for future customer with disability. No business is expected to be ADA compliant but I wish that we were atleast given the correct information when we inquired.
I had to attend to my husband with my 2 young children. No one came out to help or nevertheless knew what have occurred. My husband's injury could have been a lot worst, the fall could have resulted with him rolling down the buttom of the steep driveaway. It's a huge liability issue.
For a business that have a good rating and is well known in the neighborhood. It is extremely disappointing for someone who have a disability to had such a bad experience and more importantly that it was an...
