If you enjoy Polish and Lithuanian foods and teas, then a stop at the Euro Deli on Pulaski Street in Riverhead is where to visit. Inside, many patrons-only speak Polish. As I tried to make my selections and needed to enlist some assistance, it became easier to start by saying, "Do you speak English?" And surprisingly, the only folks I found were the ones employed there. However, the many who did not speak English tried successfully to assist me despite my "expansive"- very shortlist- of Polish words I was taught growing up. Thus, I was able to purchase lots of teas to try. Many are colorfully pictured here. They also offer an outstanding fresh selection of homemade Polish sausage-Kielbasa and Bacon. You can select smoked, double smoked, with fat or lean, and more. They also have many Polish favorites like Pierogies, Golumpki (stuffed cabbage), Kruschke and more. There are many sweets, prepackaged starters for traditional soups and sauces too. Needless to say, don't forget a loaf of bread or babka! The staff here is accommodating so you can enjoy making your own Polish Night meal at home!...

Very embarrassing since I had to ask the girl to translate to English. Purchased the smoked Kielbasa and a Cherry/Cheese Babka with crumb topping. I felt that the Babka was moist and smelled delicious. I hope it is. The Kielbasa has a nice aroma, too. My car smells like Kielbasa. Not bad, yea? I usually shopped at the Polish Deli on Main St., Riverhead, but found out it is no longer existing there. Where did they go? So, I came here. Service was pleasant and the girls behind the counter were accommodating. Not bad experience. Positive experience. I will come back if the Kielbasa and Babka tastes good when I serve it to family at Easter Sunday breakfast. I saw they have other hot food behind the counter. However, it was becoming crowded and didn't want to tie...
Read moreThe Polish deli I visited was alright, offering a decent selection of Polish food items. They had the basics like sausages, pierogies, and Polish bread, which were satisfactory in terms of taste and quality.
The deli's atmosphere was simple and functional, without any particularly distinctive decor or ambiance to speak of. It felt more like a practical place to pick up Polish groceries rather than a unique culinary experience.
The staff was helpful enough, assisting with my purchase, but there wasn't much in the way of a personal touch or any special recommendations.
In summary, this Polish deli provided the essentials of Polish cuisine without any frills. It's a suitable spot to grab some familiar Polish items if you're in need, but it may not leave a lasting impression if you're looking for a more immersive or unique Polish...
