Paws of War — Attraction in Town of Smithtown

Paws of War is a true blessing to Soldiers who bond with animals on deployment. The kitties they helped me rescue were my escape from the daily chaos. The momma kitties and her babies brought me peace and provided a loving distraction from the deployment reality. After bonding with them and forming a codependency on eachother (the kitties to me and me to them) I couldn't fathom the idea of leaving them there to suffer or die. Paws of war stepped up in a way I never could have imagined and now they've been home with me for 2.5 years. Absolutely the best!!! Entire staff, including volunteers, are caring compassionate animal lovers. They really shine with the excellence demonstrated with passionate feelings. I brought my puppy Lucky in for a check-up at an open-house event and he received phenomenal professional care by the Dr (Vet) and Entire staff. Continued care provided for weeks, he received an outstanding clipping by a patient, caring, skilled and wonderful young lady aspiring to be a Vet herself. Can't say enough complimentary things about Paws of War in Nesconset and the entire cast...

Words will never be able to describe what Paws Of War did for me and how much appreciation I have for them. They helped in the return of Ginny, a dog I found while in Bosnia. Upon contacting them they were so calm and sure about helping us I couldn't believe it. Before I knew it I was picking her up with resources and great lunch.

While there they shared more about what they do and how they help veterans, first responders and animals in need.

I cannot wait to make a visit back and show them the wonderful life Ginny now lives and the happiness she brings...
