Sodus Marina — Attraction in Town of Sodus

We have a 40 foot sailboat and were looking for a pump out. It was about 4:30 to 4:45 and we called to see if it was available. The website indicated they were open until 5 o’clock. We were right outside the marina. The person ( a young man) who answered the phone said something like “I’m out of here at 5 o’clock. I’ve been here since 7 o’clock. I’m not going to do a pump out.” My wife questioned him since the website said they’re open till 5 o’clock and we were right there and he got obnoxious and said something like “are you getting snippy with me?“. He then said “if you had called me earlier in the day, may be I would have helped you.“ My wife stated to him we’re right here and try to find out where the pump out is. He stated “lady, they are right at the end of every dock.” Not a very customer oriented,...

I went to sodus marina 6/18/21 to assist a friend in repairing his boat. After the repairs were completed , I gathered my things and made my way down the dock and back towards land. I was approached by a man stating he was “the guy who manages the place” and I was question about by I was there,who I was,and degraded , he stated that there were a lot of expensive things there and acted like I was a petty thief about to commit a heist . I have never had an experience like this at any boating facility and was discussed by his manner and tone. I do appreciate that someone is making sure to protect the investments there, but I’ll be damned if I ever go there again. I was treated like a second class citizen and it makes me wonder if all visitors are treated this way . You sir should be ashamed of yourself and how you conduct...

If it was up too me I would give this marina NO STARS!!!! They really need to look into a new dock master cause all rick is, is a dirty co&kmaster... rude and arrogant.. place would be great if it wasn’t like high school and you had to kiss everyone’s a$$. Also horrible customer service. He talks to me with disrespect for no reason and I also have a video of him mooning me. My 15 year old daughter saw it. He has a serious anger problem and gets in peoples faces. 10/10 don’t recommend...
