My wife and I stayed here while we were doing our New England road trip. Sodus Point is a nice little town that's next to Lake Ontario and a bay. The location of Carriage House is perfect if you want to walk to the Light House or into the town. Let me start by saying that the people that own Carriage House are two very nice and friendly people. Check in was easy and the room we got had all the amenities that we were looking for. The room we had had it's own bathroom and a very nice sitting room that was good to read in. The room even had a little mini fridge. Overall, the room was great for a bed and breakfast. One of the best parts of staying at the Carriage House is the fresh breakfast that is served in the morning. We were able to sit at nice table and meet the other couples that were staying at Carriage House while we ate breakfast. The breakfast consisted of fruits, a biscuit and a very nice egg dish. The breakfast was very good and is one of the many highlights of staying at the Carriage House Inn. Overall, if you are in the area and looking for a very nice, affordable place to stay, stay at the...
Read moreAfter a long covid hiatus, we went on a Finger Lakes adventure. Taughannock Falls, Glen Falls, del Lago casino in Waterloo, Newark, Sodus Point, and Skaneateles. It was at the Carriage House in Sodus Point that we met Jerry. I have never written a review before but I must say that Jerry is a charming and gracious host. He greeted us with a pleasant and informative overview of the wonderfully decorated, cozy Carriage House and its amenities. During his creative and delicious breakfasts he helped us plan our day by giving us advice on sight seeing, restaurants, and such. He is knowledgeable about the area and the Finger Lakes in general. I don't often go to a bed and breakfast but Jerry's Carriage House was a premier experience and Jerry is an outstanding and...

I really liked the little things that Jerry and Claudine did to make us feel at home. The fresh baked homemade cookies were a treat and the Terry cloth bathrobes were a nice added feature.
This B & B is in a very nice little lake shore community and the home was only a short walk to an historic lighthouse. In addition, it was only about a 15 minute walk to the downtown area near the boat docks and restaurants. We had a very nice meal at Captain Jacks which was in that area.
I highly recommend staying at the Carriage House. We are planning to return later this summer for our...
