Alpine Commons Shopping Ctr — Attraction in Town of Wappinger

Not as good as it was 12 years ago...had a Stop & Shop, Pay Half, A.C. Moore, and BJ's. First, it took them 10 years to fill the Pay Half space after it went out in 2008, and then the Salvation Army stayed for about a year and a half and just left due to COVID. Next, Stop & Shop changed to Tops in 2017, and then a year later, that closed. Then, A.C. Moore closed in early 2020. This place's only traffic is for BJ's and it's disturbing to see the empty parking lot every time I go. I have no idea what could fill the empty spaces now, but hopefully...

For BJ's, this would be a 5 star review. The plaza itself is a bit limited, and the parking lot isn't very ergonomic. That being said, the plaza is located fairly conceniently geographically speaking. BJ's, however has fantastic prices that more than make up for the annual membership cost of about $50. You can genuinely save that amount easily in one stop. Additionally, they have a great selection of organic products. Though BJ's is best known (and used) for its bulk deals, they have their share of specialty...

I like this store a lot, I always find what I'm looking for when I shop here. I just wish the bathroom wasn't so disgusting. I have an 18month old and I ALWAYS have to come with sanitizing wipes to change her in the bathroom in this store because the bathroom is ALWAYS so gross. Toilet paper all over the floor, poop in the toilets, no toilet seat covers in the compartment above the toilet. The changing station is always sticky. I hope the store manager(s) fixes this issue...
