You wouldn't be surprised with all these negative reviews within one day on Yelp, should've read and trusted the reviews. This place is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. To start, the host in the front had attitude. We reserved a table and were seated on a table inside but it was straight down from the door where the door was opened and it was super cold for us. We requested to switch to another table since we saw many booths opened, but he just said no because they were reserved. That would've been fine, we did see 1 table with a reserved sign, but there were 4-5 booths in our sight that even by the end of our table, were never occupied and no one was ever seated on them. We kept getting reminders on resy that there was a 15 min grace period so I'm not sure why those tables weren't released if they were really actually reserved. The door stayed open for most of our time there until 2/3 into the dinner. They never offered to close the doors on a night where it was barely 50° out and your customer is telling you it's cold. Should've known this was a sign. Onto the food, we ordered all apps and entrees together for the table. Half the food came out cold, tasted terrible and was super dry. The "crispy lamb" was in fact shredded lamb meat that was so so dry and looked like dog food. The mushrooms were so salty, there was no way we could eat it without drinking water after. EVERY single dish had these pickled Fresno chilies in them which was super weird, not sure why the same thing was on 8 different dishes. The seafood boil also wasn't too fresh and made our stomachs uncomfortable after. All of the meal was just a bust. I would say the general Taos cauliflower was okay, if only it wasn't half cold on the inside. The worst was when all the apps came out, all the sides, and every single entree came out, except ONE. It was my birthday dinner and we were excited to try this place but was thoroughly disappointed. All the apps, sides and every entree on the table came out. The waitress kept saying it would come out next, never did. Everyone on the table finished their entrees and after 30 mins, my entree STILL did not come out. By that time, I didn't even want the entree anymore, ended up having to cancel it bc of how long it took. I never got my own entree on my own birthday dinner, what great service. It would've been fine if there was a delay but the waitress told me 3 times repeatedly it was out next and said it was SOON. If she told me from the start it wasn't available or there was an issue, I would've ordered something else or switched it, I was never given that option and just sat there while everyone was eating.

This restaurant has tremendous amounts of potential, held slightly back by small little details that add up.

First off, the venue is beautiful. The vibe, the decor, the location, it's absolutely excellent and sets the mood perfectly for any event. Having two levels leaves plenty of room, and spacious dining rooms.

Next, the service staff is kind, welcoming, and helpful. However, they are missing some core rudiments which I would expect of a venue like this: regular stops to fill water, or dropping a water glass for self service. walking through the menu, offering suggestions for popular or seasonal items letting you know up front which dishes are good to share, and which are better ordered solo.

The great thing is, the impression I got from the staff was that they're all incredibly eager, and willing to learn-- they may just not have been trained to do so. I say this in part because we noticed a manager making rounds of the guests and staff, and generally also glossed over these finer points of hospitality. Once impressed at the top, I have no doubt the staff would immediately take up the challenge and excel.

Finally, the food. The bar program is impressive! I wanted to stay all day to try all the drinks-- the Bourbon Blaze was our absolute favorite. No notes, solid drinks. For the food, we found ourselves a little disappointed with discrepancies in description on the menu, and what we got. For example, for the Short Rib hash we were expecting potatoes akin to, well, a hash. Instead, we had a disappointingly small wedge of potato the short rib was plated on. Also, we ordered two dishes of short rib, and the salt levels were pretty different between them.

For portion sizing, I had the country egg Benedict, which was also a bit on the saltier side, but more importantly was overwhelmed on the plate with salad. I loved having the salad with the Benedict, but the salad actually partially covered one of my eggs-- this was an overwhelming amount of greens that obscured the fact that I had two to begin with. In this particular case, less is more.

Finally, for the desserts, the portion sizes were massive! Very, very generous, but I wish I had some warning up front how big the banana pudding and the apple crisp would be, either by the server or the menu. Each of those dishes could serve at least two people-- and we ordered one for each of us.

Overall, there's definitely room for improvement, and I hope they do! Heritage has a lot of promise and I'm excited to see how they implement changes and improve further. I will absolutely come back to track...

This was my first time here even though I've lived in this area my whole life. My husband and I (and 2 kids) went out for brunch the day before Mothers Day and I could not have been more disappointed. I'll start off by saying I will never come here again. I asked for a booth but they said they had none available which was fine but the chairs at the tables were so uncomfortable! Metal chairs as if they were for a prison. Behind us there were semi booths that they could have pushed together to accommodate a MOTHER on MOTHERs DAY weekend but again that's fine however the 2 HOURS we spent there, not once did anyone sit in those semi booths. We ordered the rolls for our appetizer, 4 extremely small rolls for $9 is ridiculous but they were good so its whatever. Next we each order our meals. It took an extremely long time to come out and when they did, my husband and 2 kids get served theirs at the same time except mine. I waited and waited. Eventually mine came out. I thought, that's weird. If anything you either bring all the dinners at the same or maybe the mothers first since it is Mothers Day weekend but again whatever. Then we order our desserts. Same thing happened. They all got their desserts first at the same time and I had to wait again! I was like what is happening! My husband had to go up to the waiter after waiting and ask where it was? He went in and checked and I could tell that he never wrote it down but he didn't even come back to give us an update. So I called him over and told him that was terrible that on Mothers Day weekend, he would continue to keep serving the MOTHER last! I said please do not continue to do this to the rest of the mothers today because you're going to make the feel bad! Then he spilled 5 glasses of orange juice all over the floor and table. Thank God my daughter went to the bathroom otherwise it would have fallen all over her. I said what's wrong with you? I've been here for 2 hours which is way too long for a family of 4 and you keep serving the Mother last! The manager never came over to apologize either. I've never had such a terrible experience. They brought is out 4 diet cokes that we never ordered and the chicken/waffles had a weird taste on the chicken. By the time my dessert was ready, my family was already done. I said I don't want this now. I did not like the way I was treated at all. Even the hostess seemed rude and our waiter was MIA. I've never wrote a bad review in my...
