I went there yesterday Sept 1 to do some spontaneous Labor Day shopping hoping to strike some deals. Because every penny counts in my perspective, however, this store's manager Jazz and sales associate Daniel don't think so. I came approximately 1 week prior, 8 days ago Saturday, Aug 24, just to explore and found a nice pair of Puma shoes. But today it was $10 lower and I brought the shoe unworn, with tag, in its original box with bag, and the receipt with me. I bought it because I figured there would be possible additional sales, but I know it's not always guaranteed to have a better deal. I asked for a price adjustment but it was denied. The store manager denied the price adjustment when it was asked on the walkie. It was denied because I bought the shoes before Wednesday. I had suggested/asked to return and repurchase the item. The sales associate didn't ask the manager and said I could return it. But instead of repurchasing it on the spot for the price difference, the shoes would have to go back to storage. After the shoes would go back to the floor and I would have to look for the shoes again and then purchase them. This is if the shoes go on the floor and if I would even be able to find them. The sales associate was already annoyed before our interaction so I decided to speak to the manager in person. Finding the policy ridiculous, I spoke to the manager and she said that she would honor the price difference because I had the item, receipt, and the difference was 10 dollars. I appreciate her honoring it and allowing me not to have to wait in line again. I simply said "I hope you understand " to the manager, and she said "No", giving the demeanor that I was ridiculous for wanting to save $10. I was already annoyed with the company policy and went on a rant with my sister and the sales associate decided to intervene in his views of $10 being ridiculous. I don't know if he was having a bad day. The sales associate said it was stupid and he didn't understand but he chose his own battles. I didn't view getting my $10 back a battle until he mentioned it being one. Then the manager expressed that she wouldn't normally do this, stating she was doing me a favor. I am glad they don't think $10 is nothing. Glad they don't value the worth of $1 and are fortunate enough to throw money away. You never know what $1 might mean to someone. I work hard for my income and will try to save each dollar if possible. But glad that the store manager and sales associate don't have to work hard for their money and that they can spend $10 carelessly. I remember the sales associate from the day I bought the shoes. He was annoyed at everything and anyone. He was annoyed when customers asked if there were different sizes of several items in their storage in the back. The sales associate was annoyed when they asked and rudely responded that there wasn't anything in the back and everything was on the floor. Will I shop here again I don't think so. Not the best customer service at all. I don't know if it was a bad day for them due to the holiday. The sale associate didn't seem to like his job or being there at all. The policy is also ridiculous. I understand if I wore the item already, didn't have a receipt/item, or if it was over a month as it states on the receipt I could not return it after 30 days. But maybe state you can't also buy and repurchase something on spot and price adjustment in any demeanor is not allowed. Price adjustments are honored in other places without any issues as long the product isn't worn, with a receipt, and still has price tags. I got my $10 and I could have invested back into the store with a shirt or another pair of shoes. If it was smaller than $10, would I have been completely denied? Am I considering returning the shoes, yes. Some people may disagree with me that $10 is not worth the price adjustment or the hassle of going through or view me difficult. But attitude and policies will have me think of shopping here and supporting the Puma brand since I just bought a couple of shoes that might go back...
Read moreI am going to show my age here. I first got turned Puma with the Suede Pumas in the 80's. Now forward to 2024 I have ran back to Puma for about 5 years now. The store covers all my needs sneakers, t shirts, hoodies and socks. I was in the today on 10/20/24 three t shirts and a pair of cute sneakers for my grown daughter.
I was at the register waiting to pay for my merchandise. People in front me paying. Once they left I said to the Associate how is he in here with a Fila jacket on. She said people always do that disrespectful thing. Wearing bringing in Nike gear etc. She did say Adidas is ok being that Adidas and Puma are the same. Well I know they were at one time. That whole conversation was done in fun as I had on my Puma hoodie.
The store is my one of my go to spots when I...
Read moreI went there on Memorial Day weekend. Most of the item was on sale there. I picked one that was marked as a sale, however after I got to the cashier, after waiting a long line for check out, he didn't give me the discount. When I told him that it was on sale, he said that's only for the smaller size. There was never a sign there that said the discount was only for smaller sizes. They are not HONEST with their sale. So disappointed with this store. Don't waste your time here, there are many other sports stores with better customer service...
