Update: It didn’t settle well with me and I called the store to clarify with a higher-up to see what the actual price of the item was. When it was all clarified with actual evidence of pricing, it turns out the 2 associates were indeed incorrect while the 1 that didn’t agree with them was right. Though justice was served, I’m perplexed about updating my star rating because the manager that I spoke with was defensive. I hate being gaslit, and if I relay a situation, never hyperbolic. I always have evidence. Still he kept saying that his associates would never tell us that discounts aren’t manually inspired, because they do have to manually put in the discount. Well anyway, I welcomed him to interview my receipt, to view their cameras, to interview the associates there that night. After he ate his words and not only saw that we were charged the incorrect amount, but also the associates handled the entire thing incorrectly, he barely gave any apologies on behalf of the theft (basically) or verbal intent to retrain his crew.

I got scammed. My associates are a repeat-customer, and I am unsure what just transpired. We saw a shirt on their 50% markdown rack. It made sense that it was on the rack because it was the only collared shirt of it’s kind left in that size, usually larger than average consumer.
One associate told us it was on the incorrect rack, and that it belonged to the collard shirts 20% off. We looked, and it wasn’t similar at all to the shirt we had on hand.
When we asked for price, they wouldn’t just scan the shirt to tell me the price. 2 associates kept telling us off the top of their head that it was 20%, while one associate was adamant that it was in the correct section of 50% (he needs to be boosted to assistant manager, though I wish he would’ve advocated louder for what he thought was correct). I asked them a few times (there were witnesses) if prices were automatically displayed on the register when you scan it or if they had to manually input the discount, because I don’t want anyone just making up numbers that isn’t actually there. The caucasian young man who helped us told us that prices automatically reflect once scanned and he’s not allowed to input anything manually or else he’s get fired.
When we checked out, the younger caucasian man, who told us the shirt was in the wrong section rang us up. It was all so shady, and in retrospect, I should’ve just placed the shirt down and came back another time to confirm with a supervisor. I also didn’t receive the e-mail receipt that I had requested upon checkout. I will be...
Read moreI really like this place and it's a shame I have to give it a one-star because of the customer service. The line was closed off as the store seemingly reached its customer capacity limit. Understandable. However, we saw at least 10 people leave the store and no one came to retrieve new customer to enter the store. There was no one in the front to keep count and manage customers. But most distressingly, there were free workers everywhere busy just looking at their phones, not even helping out customers. It was also a cold day and many customers were struggling as a result. We tried to communicate through the window to get someone to come and let new customers enter the store, but the store employees gave us a puzzled look as if they were telling us, "what do you want us to do?" One male employee even made sure to give customers a disgusted look once we were allowed to enter the store. I am not sure which is worse. The fact that the employees there, despite being unattended by customers, did not care to come to the front to receive new customers and were instead busy looking at their devices. Or the fact that employees are allowed to give customers a disgusted look just because the customers gave a reaction in asking why we were not allowed in when people exited the store and the store was not at its customer capacity. Maybe the employees here seem to think they are above...
Read moreI have to say I am surprised Burberry is in the business to lose money instead of making it. Yesterday I purchased a hoody that I ended up exchanging because of the pricing and manufacturing origin.
I go and pick out 2 items which make up for the amount needed ($1200)to receive a additional discount (30%) and the store supervisor refused to honor the discount because of the hoody I decided to exchange.
That kind of business practice, especially from a outlet store which I’m sure their goal is to sell all the inventory, is very bad. He had me put down a pair of $600 pants I was willing to purchase because he wanted me to spend more money to give him more commission (to compensate for the returned hoody) instead of making it work out so that the two new items I wanted to purchase could get the discount.
Be very careful with these sales people they purposely divulge information to make you spend more money. The male supervisor thought he could get another $700 on me to get the discount. No professional curtesy whatsoever. I do not recommend this place. They are extremely overpriced and most items are manufactured in Asia. Not England and Italy like the old and classic...
