Scared by the Sound Haunted House — Attraction in Town of Yorktown

ScaredbytheSound Haunted House 2024 Review: This is the perfect Haunted House for families and younger guests, but also scary enough for the older crowd. It has classic Haunted House vibes with its narrow dark hallways and dungeon style walls. There are some really impressive scenes including an actual wine cellar and a library full of hundreds of books. There are real morgue tables, mortuary cabinets and hospital beds. It also has not one but two spinning Vortex tunnels back to back. There is no chance of not interacting with the inhabitants here as they are in almost every hallway and room. They also want something from you so you have to do your best to keep moving and get away as fast as you can. Before we went in we could hear screaming throughout from guests ahead of us. Pat and his crew do a great job! Scared by the sound has it all!! Scary fun for the whole family. They pay close attention to details here but what really makes this show pop are the actors! Must of been a scare actor around every corner. Also probably the coolest welcoming sound track I have ever heard at a haunted house attraction. First Haunt experience in Westchester County since moving here, I'm an avid haunt goer for over 15 years and have made my own for 7 years in a row so I was thoroughly impressed by the props that this haunt offers. The acting was top notch and the length was a good amount for what you pay. Personally I would only tweak a few things to make this a better haunt but that's it.
