El Macho Pizzeria & Pasta — Restaurant in Town of Yorktown

I walked in and all the employees were on their phones laughing and drinking Dunkin’ Donuts. Only one employee was making pizza’s and the rest were “on break.” They messed up my order: I ordered a grilled chicken wrap and I asked for no tomatoes and no mayo. They put it in the wrap anyway. I also ordered a philly cheesesteak wrap and it was the greasiest thing ever! There was so much steak and one slab of cheese. It came with onion rings and they were so soggy. We also ordered fries and they were covered in oil. I went to go pour out some ketchup to dip my fries in and only ketchup water came out. I almost gagged. I also ordered a chicken Caesar salad and there was so much slobs if chicken and they were all burnt. We also bought two Snapple iced tea‘s and we asked our waitress for 2 cups of ice and when she turned around she rolled her eyes. I would not go this restaurant again. Just warning...

Delicious. While I was waiting for my order, I noticed a couple at a table enjoying soup. She looked delicious. Ask, What are they eating? . They informed me that "Seafood soup." I wanted to try it and requested an order. Ummmmm what a delight, great flavor, little fat, good protein, shrimp, oysters, clams. I enjoyed it. My wife ordered another order and she loved it. I recommend this dish If you want to eat something nutritious, light and delicious. For less than 10. there is parking and the restaurant is central. They also sell pizza of various flavors and I notice that they make delivery. The place has table service, they are diligent, warm and attentive. I should clarify that I ordered a small soup, but I should have ordered...

I always order delivery here (I think it used to be called Mima’s) through Slice, it’s such a convenient option and it’s so fast. Just ordered again today and the food tastes the same(a very good thing!). Pizza, chicken parm, penne ala vodka, calamari, chicken Marsala are all delicious. Fettuccine Alfredo is satisfying too - some places make it wayy too cheesy and bordering on greasy but from here it’s just right for my taste. A sleeper hit is the pasta fagioli - super flavorful and not too tomato heavy like it is at other places! Definitely give this place a try....
