Really displeased with the passport service here. Sat and waited by the passport desk for 30 minutes to be told I needed to check in at a service desk that was fairly irrelevant in proximity with no SPECIFIC signage stating so. The sign posted implies to check in at the passport desk. When I went to the service desk then, I was heavily questioned on my paperwork and how I chose to fill it out. The woman insisted I fill things out that were not relevant for me and my application personally. Stated it was in her personal opinion which I multiple times responded that I wasn’t interested in filling out the parental section as it is NOT REQUIRED. I ended up having to ask for my paperwork back several times and leave because she wouldn’t send me through to passport services. Again, that was an optional part of my paperwork, NOT a required section for submission. Her personal opinion on the paperwork is completely unprofessional and not necessary. I plan to call daily until I receive a response stating that this employee will no longer harass people with her opinions on paperwork versus factual...
Read moreTowson Library is everything you expect a library to be and so much more. First Towson Library is an experience in and to itself due to its weird Brutalist building. The library is well stocked and staffed with knowledgeable librarians and associates that can help you find whatever you need.
Towson Library has a nice little computer set up that lets you surf the best parts of the internet. You can submit online applications, send email from your registered account websites. Towson Library is climate controlled and everyone behaves with good sense.
The only negative I have about Towson, Library is during COVID 19 they closed down the little coffee \ pastry shop. That coffee shop elevated the library experience immensely. A good book and a hot cup of Joe blew this werewolf's hair back. Darn Covid 19 ruined everything.
All that said Towson, Library is still a fine place to enjoy a book and surf the net. I'm sure there is more to do but, I'm a cultural dullard. What do I know. LOL!...

She enjoyed the scavenger hunt and loved using the computer to find books she wanted to check out. We registered her for the summer reading program and the librarian asked her about her personal information rather than asking me, which made her feel so grown up! Every employee we encountered was very friendly and we even got to see Ms. Whitney from the PH branch. As we were leaving, my daughter said "I'm going to call this the best time I've ever had at a library!". I also liked the convenience of walking right into the library from the parking garage. It was well worth the $3 parking fee. Thanks to everyone there for a lovely afternoon and keep up...
