7 West Bistro Grille — Restaurant in Towson

Where do I begin? There is a reason 7 West Bistro and Grille has so many 5- star ratings. They absolutely exceeded my expectations and even though I'm not hard to please, I expect good customer service. The customer service they provided was exceptional. My sister turned 60 years old and I wanted to host an event for her. My sister-in-law mentioned 7 West and their great reviews. Our party consisted of 9 people. I reached out to the restaurant via phone and they immediately followed-up with an email, detailing everything I requested. When I signed the contract and made the deposit, they immediately accommodated the napkin color change and when I had questions, they answered each email the same day, within the hour. Not once did they act as if I was being a nuisance and the tone of their replies were always friendly. They provided me with suggestions for 3 hour free parking, which was soo helpful because Towson traffic on Saturday night isn't easy to maneuver. The table setting was beautiful and even though they offered to place the cake and favors in their refrigerator, there was a smaller table that they'd set-up before we arrived, that looked exactly like our dining table. So, we were able to place the cake, balloons and favors on the table and enjoy them while we ate and laughed. The food was wonderful! The portions were big and after we each had our appetizers and rolls, we were already stuffed. The size of the appetizers were the size of a meal. Ten wings as an appetizer? Where do they do that? Everyone said their food tasted great and my crab cake was on point. No filler and no need for mustard or any other condiment. The complimentary champagne was a wonderful touch to the end of the event and we were able to toast my sister. Our hostess, Stephanie, was wonderful. She was genuinely friendly and she asked to meet the birthday girl. She was super busy with larger parties, but she always checked on us. I contacted 7 West 2 weeks before our daughter's high school graduation about reserving space for about 17 people. I was considering other venues, but 7 West was most convenient to the church where her graduation was being held and my son said he'd been to other gatherings at 7 West and he enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. He said he especially likes the lamb chops and the crab cakes. It was a tight schedule for 7 West to fit us in since it is graduation season, but Boyko squeezed us in and we chose the Platinum menu. I am so glad that we decided to have our celebration at 7 West for our daughter because it was perfect. Our reserved time was from 1:00 to 3:00 which was immediately after the graduation. Some of our guests arrived before me, a little before 1:00 and none of them said there was problem being seated a few minutes early. Our waitress was awesome. I don't remember her name, but she checked in on us, took drink orders and gave us the rundown of how our food orders would be taken once we were ready. The whole 2 hours ran smoothly from beginning to end. The food was delicious, plentiful, and hot. The crab cakes, especially were perfect (and we are crab cake snobs 😉). The complimentary champagne (and for the non-alchoholic drinkers - ginger ale) toast was perfect. I paid extra for the premium table decor and it added a nice touch to our celebration. We were all impressed with the professionalism and organization of our waitress. Some of our guests even spoke of coming back. 7 West, you will be hearing from me again as my husband was so impressed (which is hard to do), that we may be booking an overdue retirement party for him.

My husband and I booked a birthday/graduation dinner for our daughter in June 2025. The experience was perfect! We reached out to 7 West in December of 2024 to ensure we could secure our requested date. They hadn't opened reservations for 2025 at that time but advised us that someone would reach out to us in January to confirm our request. Sure enough, we received a call on 1/2/2025 from 7 West to gather information regarding our dinner party.

We were given all details with a follow up email. From that point on, all communication was made via email to avoid any misunderstandings and to have a point of reference (Which I absolutely loved and agree!) 7 West responded to each and every email promptly, adhered to any changes right away, amended the contract as necessary, etc. Communication was top tier! They also validate parking for up to 3 hours at a nearby garage. On Sundays, on street parking is free.

The day of the party went perfectly. Staff was attentive and courteous. The setting was beautiful. We were able to close the doors for privacy/noise control during speeches and "Happy Birthday" song. The food was delicious. I forgot to add that there was a specific menu for guests to choose from. The menus included a heading of your choice at the top to save as a memento if you choose.

After the party, 7 West reached out to make sure we were satisfied with everything. I also received the deposit that I originally placed with my credit card, to secure the room, the next business day. I didn't have to remind them or request the refund. Everything was seamless. I would most definitely host another dinner party at 7 West without hesitation!...
