First off, I am a very specific person. I know more about what I don’t like than what I do like. I’m afraid to try new foods but want to and usually that’s my struggle point when ordering. I usually spend more money ordering what I know I like separate instead of the things that come with the meal. I heard about this place from a Co worker, we both love Caribbean food and she said hands down in her 53 years of being in the americas she never had food that taste like it came from the yard (Jamaica) she had brown stew chicken and oxtails then every other day I would see her eating from there. I put it in my GPS from home and it was an Hour drive lol I went and the gentleman Mr. Frye and his wife pretty much chauffeured me through my ordering process. Jerk chicken (the real chicken) not wings cabbage rice and peace and a patty to go I asked for a coke and she said do you want to taste a real Jamaican drink lol I said yes she gave me a pineapple drink I forgot the name but it was delicious and matched the food. I thought the food would take a while because it was lunch time and it was a few costumers already eating and about 4 I front of me I walked out front sat in my car and a few mins later noticed Mr. Frye looking for someone lol I popped my head out and he said you ! Hey your food is ready 😂 I was in my head like this can’t be good because in my head good food don’t come that fast. When I got home it’s was still not warm but hot I guess from the rice in the sealed container I was surprised I was upset I thought I would have to microwave it. I took that first bite of rice and cabbage and a corner of plantain omg buy anyway I had to taste the chi king hoping it wasn’t just hot chicken that someone called jerk. Leg and thigh was tender even to the touch seasoned to perfection and most importantly not dry! And not overly unnaturally juicy lol man I fell asleep and woke up the next day late for work. If you love food especially Jamaican / Caribbean dishes go and see these lovely people and the prices are affordable I didn’t see one thing that was just expensive they even had a lunch special that was like 8 or 9 dollars in 2023. They give you more than enough good I am truly surprised now I have to look my coworker in the eyes and let her know that I know now and I’m telling everybody lol she’s going to be pissed. It feel like a crime to keep this...

Please READ. I want to go back for another visit but I have to be honest. If my return visit is better I can adjust my initial rating.
Unfortunately, they were still cooking most of the food (fresh) so the menu was limited to three (3) items, which they did explain to me before I ordered. They didn’t have rice and peas so they offered a substitution of white rice which I accepted.
I ordered the oxtails but they told me after plating it that they didn’t have enough for my full order so they gave me some curry chicken to fill the order which I accepted. I ended up not eating it all due to the fact it was somewhat salty.
The young lady who took my order was nice, pleasant & professional.
Two takeaways: The prices could be a little better but to be fair I haven’t experienced a full order of oxtails yet to be the judge. SN: 10% service charge was interesting.
Before I left I asked if everything was in the bag. When I arrived at my destination I was missing a food item that I already paid for.
It would be nice if someone from their establishment could reach out to me regarding my missed item of food. I also want to come when the food has just been prepared to get a true depiction of their business/food.
I look forward to hearing from...
