Ok to sum everything I’m saying later is basically the food is sooo mid. I’ll try to give constructive feedback but omg what I ate was kinda offensive.

Ok a spot that’s open till 2am on the strip, great concept, great place to go when you’re starving or drunk or both. I primarily order from uber eats, again only when I’m starving. I’m sure the atmosphere is great like any other place in uptown. I just personally can’t attest to it. Ok next, my main issue with this place is the food. I’ve ordered 4 other times, still just mid food but decent enough to eat, never anything bad enough to write a review, again i can appreciate the fact this place is open late and it’s cheap with decent food, but nothing prepared me for today, i had ordered chicken over rice. Remember when i said it was almost offensive? Yeahhhh. please please pleaseeee just leave halal cart style food to the halal cart people. Like you’re better off going to naz or babas. For feedback, if your going to do anything over rice, and your selling yellow rice, just season it. It really tastes like I’m just eating chicken over water. Like i get it with a place like this, cheap food that’s open till late, you can’t expect great food. But like you couldn’t season the rice? It doesn’t have to be the exact halal cart rice seasoning, but no salt and pepper? Chicken bouillon? Anyways the other items are pretty good, wings are great, cheesesteak is good, you can skip on the spicy chicken sandwich, and the seafood boil (lmfao i know it’s sketchy to get one from a place like this) isn’t actually that bad, you can skip on the crawfish tho. But yeah idk that chicken over rice was scary, and chicken was fine, don’t expect to see that classic red chicken and that rice wow i mean it was just bad to keep it simple, it’s just plain white rice dyed yellow, if you used turmeric that’s great but also turmeric has no taste so that doesn’t count...

Alright y’all, let’s not waste time. I’m not new to this—I’m true to this—and TikTok really had y’all fooled on this one. Idk if they got sponsored or just don’t have real taste buds, but even if they cut me a check, you’d still get the truth from me.

The vibe? Cool, dim lighting, kind of lounge-y. The crowd was mixed, which I liked, but honestly… it gave student union cafeteria with mood lighting. Ordering on a kiosk? Fine if you like feeling like you’re at an airport. I tried asking a simple question at the register and Juan barely caught what I was saying—so let’s just say the “hospitality” didn’t hit.

Now to the food—brace yourself. • Seafood boil for my cousin? Crawfish, potatoes, corn, sausage… all lightly seasoned (and I mean LIGHTLY, like someone thought about seasoning but got distracted). Butter was the only flavor. Noodles? Barely there, just disrespectful. • Crab fries? Came out semi-cold like they were waiting on me to bring the heat. Meh. • Steak quesadilla? Greasier than a car mechanic’s hands, and yet still bland. Should’ve just poured one out for Nacho Mama’s because they would’ve never let me down like this.

Even Grams, who usually tries to find the good in everything, hit me with, “This spot is probably better for broke college kids who don’t know any better.” And honestly? She’s right.

So yeah… if you like mediocrity with a side of “well, it’s cheap,” go ahead. But if you actually care about taste? Save yourself the disappointment. Wish them well, but I...

i told my boyfriend to leave a review for me but honestly with the nature of my interaction… I VERY rarely take the time out to write a negative review. But i made it ALL THE WAY HOME and am still bothered by my interaction. I went to the front door indicating to the worker there than my friend was outside and got lost so i wanted to try and wave him down. Now i completely understand if at a certain hour or time point no more orders can be made or people let in. BUT the delivery from a REPRESENTATIVE of the company was EXTREMELY poor. Like how he mentioned in his interview the girl who walked around asking for reviews in exchange for dessert was very kind. But the way this person spoke to me was COMPLETELY unacceptable. She tried to get snappy with me, idk if she assumed I was drinking and wouldn’t have been able to understand what she was saying. But like he has said in his review, not every patron can be expected to be drunk, ESPECIALLY as a late night spot on a COLLLEGE STRIP. EXTREMELY dissatisfied and disappointment with how this establishment treated their consumers and i will make ABSOLUTE sure to not return. Like i said, I don’t usually review places, but this was such a poor interaction i literally HAD to notify others looking to spend their hard earned college dollars (which are scarce btw).
