My friend found out about Foundation in Troy through IG. She shared the website and I checked it out. I've heard about this Korean SPA and I really wanted to try. We had our consultation + facial + head SPA. David was straight to point. He explained and gave detailed advise regarding what needs to be done with your skin concern. What I like about him ,he was not talking or selling of hey this is the brand you need to use. He is more of what vitamins you need or the specific ingredients not the brand name.

Services: The facial and head SPA was super great and relaxing. It was something I really wanted to experience. Head and shoulder massage was amazing. Susie (correct me if i had the name wrong) she was gentle and did really good in taking care of me, I love how she was massaging my shoulder and arms like she knows I needed it too.

Price: you can check their website. They gave us a 10% discount for the new package. I think the price was worth the service. Some SPA for 50 mins is 100 but that's facial only. I paid $180(that's with 10%) for facial and head SPA can't beat that! They have added Services too that you might be interested like aqua peel. Me and friend will definitely be back. I just came back home from receiving the head spa treatment with my mom and I feel amazing.

For background, I have thick 3C curly hair, and use a ton of hair products to style my curls. Due to all the buildup, my scalp gets very oily sometimes. I had seen treatments similar to the one this spa offers trending on Instagram, and immediately knew that I had to one day try it out. Recently, my mom and I saw a promotion on Instagram for this spa near us and immediately booked our appointment.

At the beginning of the appointment, I saw what my scalp looked like up close with the special machine they use. I realized just how oily it was from all the product I’m using as well as the inflammation I have. I got advice for what I can do to better care for my scalp with my washing routine which was so helpful. The actual treatment itself was very cleansing. They used numerous hydrating hair products, and massaged my scalp and shoulders. The highlight of the experience was the water machine and the claw on my scalp, both of which felt amazing.

I went to Foundation of Troy for the first time today and received the Facial / Head Spa combo. Wow, I'm honestly at loss for words - This place is a gem. I just moved to Michigan from North Carolina, and both my scalp and my face have given me issues during the move. The staff were super kind and fantastic. The owner explained my scalp health in detail and helped me with a game plan to revive it. The treatments were divine; I almost fell asleep but was afraid that I would snore so I kept trying to wake myself up =) My scalp is definitely much cleaner and a lot less itchy. Not only did I feel refreshed, I was super relaxed. I've had a tough time the last few months and have been suffering from severe insomnia and anxiety. For the first time, my nervous system has calmed down, which wasn't even the primary reason I booked this appointment. Plus, my face glowed. I absolutely LOVE K beauty and use products at home, but this treatment was on another level.
