Drove from Lakeshore, Ontario, to this store. Dry groceries are stocked well. However, produce is out of stock for common items. Cashiers and bagging staff was helpful. But stocking staff did poor customer service. Spent $35 and bought deal vada, lilva kachori, bataka wada, samosas. All came without chutney or sauce. It was not fresh. I bought it on Saturday afternoon. It was not even hot. Super overpriced. Price is per piece. It is absolutely tasteless and not authentic. I would say buy one taste it right there and then decide of you want to buy more or not. I would suggest going for packed goods but do not buy from food counter. They never have any offers. Nothing to give to customer. No reward points. They have public washrooms. Plenty of free parking. However, store do not have free public wifi which could be an issue for some. Cannot access GPS. Store is over rated just as costco. It just have its name and fame built up and so people keep going. However, for dry groceries they have lots of varieties so you can go there for that items.

If you’re looking for a true taste of India right here in town, look no further than this incredible Indian store. From the moment you walk in, it’s like stepping into a marketplace in Delhi or Mumbai. The selection is absolutely massive, and it’s clear that the store owners have gone out of their way to stock products that cater to the wide and diverse tastes of the Indian community—and even beyond. The variety here is genuinely impressive. Whether you’re looking for pantry staples like basmati rice, lentils, flours (atta, besan, maida), or a wide array of spices and masalas. There’s also an incredible range of frozen foods. One thing I really appreciate is how well-organized and clean the store is. It’s not cluttered like some ethnic markets can be. Everything is categorized and labeled, making it easy to browse even if you’re not entirely familiar with all the items. The aisles are spacious, and the store is always tidy and well-lit.

It's really a very good place for finding anything u need to make or bring anything to do with Indian food. They also have a huge bulletin board for all the indians to know what's going on in their community! which I think is a real plus for the store I only wish they would open up more stores with better management and employees all over especially in sterling heights. The customer service is very poor almost non existant. The workers there are in regular clothes so it's hard to tell if they work there or not and the cashier's are not that friendly they dont acknowledge u ! We had gone there for their home made chapatis which I guess they just started having they have different types of chapati but the ones we like was the home made one. When we looked it was not there so we asked the three people that were working the machine that makes the chapati. Two of them seemed to careless about what we had to say or much less to what we needed. One of the ladies was kind enough to ask us and look into the matter at hand and turned out to be beneficial for both of us because they had a lot already made and packed and we bought around 5 packets of them. A little consideration from employees goes a long way. Trust me I have been in retail for 12 years now...I hope the management improves in this store. I have been coming to these guys since before they were such a huge store I remember going to them when they were on dequinder rd and much smaller store which was closer to our house. On the border of troy and...

I’ve been a regular customer here, spending $50-$100 each visit, but after this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering. I purchased a dosa tawa recently, trusting the quality like I have for years. Unfortunately, this new brand turned out to be terrible—the dosa wouldn’t even come off properly. I called to inquire about returns and was told I could return it within 7 days with the receipt.

Despite living 25 minutes away, I made the trip back. The same cashier who checked us out initially couldn’t identify the item on the receipt, which was listed as ‘grocery’ for $18. Instead of assisting me, the staff treated me like I was trying to scam them. I work at a corporate office, I am not in a position to need to be stealing from anyone. One employee rudely claimed the sticker on the tawa wasn’t theirs, essentially accusing me of bringing in a different product.

Finally, someone (possibly the owner) stepped in and said they couldn’t take it back since I had used it. How am I supposed to test a hot plate’s quality without using it? I bought this item Monday 11-25 and try to return it 11/28. The lack of accountability and the accusatory attitude were shocking.

This is not how you treat a regular customer. It’s not about the $18—it’s about the principle. I expected much better customer service and quality assurance. This experience was extremely disappointing and the worst I’ve had...

I wish I could Give them zero stars.

I was trying to reach something across the shelf and I saw someone waving their hands from the opposite side and saying DONT CLIMB MY SHELF ( I was not climbing HIS SHELF) I was pre occupied with getting the stuff I need so I didn’t care much and asked him if he could Help however he didn’t try much. While Leaving he kept muttering NO ONE CLIMBS MY SHELVES. (not sure what he is referring to when he says MY SHELF) I went back to talk to him and he was rude again. His reply was WOULD YOU CLIMB SHELVES IN MEIJER ? My question is would he treat someone from here in the same manner. Apparently he is the manager of the store and his name per staff is JAIN. ( don’t know if that’s the true name because they were hesitant even to tell his name). He never tried to explain the situation or Apologize for the rude behavior.

If the same situation happened in any other Indian store they would walk to customer and ask if the customer needed any help.

The store has good collection but if you look at others reviews too you would know how poor the...
