During our recent visit to Authentikka Indian Cuisine, we had the pleasure of experiencing a delightful array of dishes that left us thoroughly satisfied. Our meal started with the Chicken Tandoori and Veg Sesame for starters, followed by Veg Biryani and Egg Biryani for the main course. Here’s a detailed review of our experience:
Food: The Chicken Tandoori was the highlight of our meal. It was undoubtedly the best we’ve had in years—juicy, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection. The Veg Sesame starter was a pleasant surprise, offering a unique and flavorful twist on vegetable dishes. Both the Veg Biryani and Egg Biryani were well-prepared, with aromatic spices and a satisfying blend of flavors that made each bite a delight.
Ambience: The ambience of Authentikka Indian Cuisine was decent. While it wasn’t particularly striking or memorable, it was comfortable and suitable for a casual dining experience. The decor and setting were simple, allowing the focus to remain on the food.
Service: The service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure that we had a pleasant dining experience. Our orders were taken promptly, and the food was served hot and fresh. We appreciated the staff's willingness to accommodate our preferences and their knowledge of the menu.
Price: We found the prices to be reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the level of service we received. It was great value for money, making Authentikka a perfect spot for both regular visits and special occasions.
Overall: Authentikka Indian Cuisine is a gem for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian food. The superb taste, particularly of the Chicken Tandoori, along with great service and reasonable prices, makes it a highly recommended dining destination. We look forward to returning and trying more of their offerings.

Read moreI moved from Farmington Hills and their buffets were better, even post covid. Troy indian buffets are a mixed bag too like everywhere. Its a sad state everywhere for food lovers. I would gladly pay more for flavor or complexity in indian buffet dishes after tasting delicious veg indian dishes. And im sure if you order something specific off the menu it might be better here and elsewhere. But im going to rate based on the buffet, as we should advocate change.
No soup, sombar or rasaam? -1 star Rice dishes lacked flavor and herbs, shout out to the missing vegetable biryani standard fare -1 star No complex veg dishes, place was cold, wasn't shown tablet unsure if charged for tip? Deep fried broccoli instead of cauliflower was that to save a few pennies? -1 star
I could go on but..
Weekend lunch buffet only at 12:30pm and not earlier like other places start at least 11:30 or 12pm. Definitely not worth waiting for, but they had their one chance and got their one review.
Thank all things good that I didn't bring wife here, totally disappointed.
Several places down the road better even though not as good as Farmington Hills, way more worth going to for same price...
