Will NOT be going to this store AGAIN! Horrible customer service. It’s more like a criminal investigators office type of store than an Apple Store. They assume everyone that goes in the store is going to steal, like I understand there are people who steal, However the rest of us who work hard do also shop. They kept staring at me walking behind me and speaking with each other through their ear piece.
I went to pick up an order and showed the QR code that was given to me. The sales person that was supposedly assisting me had a very unprofessional attitude . After showing her the code she said there was an error with the name in the order, Showed no effort in helping me and left to help someone else.
she said call customer service so they can update your name which I did and long story short the Apple customer service on the phone asked to speak with the store rep because all my information matched the order.
When I told the rep that the Apple support wanted to speak with her she said she can’t talk to them!! And walked away again!! A few min later the manager comes with a nasty attitude assuming the worst and although the Apple rep on the phone was telling her that my information matched she kept saying that I added the incorrect delivery address!! I couldn’t believe my ears as I selected to go in person to pick up the order not to deliver to my home therefore the address to deliver would have been the store not my house!
After almost 30 minutes standing there the manager told me to log in to my iCloud and she had to apologize for her comments because all my info matched.
It was a total waste of time because if she would have asked me to log in to my iCloud from the beginning I would have received my order quickly.
There’s no need to be disrespectful and treat others as if they are beneath you just because of a personal biases!
Management, please provide better customer service training to your staff .Color people are NOT going to the store to steal! WE are also HARD working...
Read moreIt started off right when I walked in the store. An associate noticed me right away, asked me what I needed help in, and directed me to the area/station where I could receive assistance. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the area/station where the AirPods were located at, two associates were there, both seemed to be talking to one another exchanging information, perhaps in regards to the “would be customer.” Now I have no problem with that, that’s their job. But what I did have a problem with, is you ignoring me. I’m standing there, I’m looking at you, you’re looking at me, and you choose not to address me, not acknowledge me, nothing. All you have to say is, “I’ll be right with you,” but no, I actually stood there for a few, until another associate came up to me, and he had to decipher which associate was helping the woman (unbeknownst to me, only one was). He asked the young lady associate was she assisting the customer, she told him no. Once he determined she was not, he then had to actually tell the young lady to assist me. That type of behavior is just unacceptable! Her behavior left me not wanting to ever return to that store. That will be my last purchase from Apple at Trumbull. It’s great that some people have a very professional attitude at work, while those that don’t, can tarnish the reputation...
Read moreI went to this store on July 30th, 2024. I made an appointment at the Genius Bar. They made me sign a data loss waiver otherwise they wouldn’t help me with my problem with my microphone not working. The male employee, Jonathan, told me that my phone had been backed up that morning and proceeded to say I would have to wipe my phone and restore everything from iCloud. Turns out my contacts and all my text messages were not backed up to the cloud. This was an extremely frustrating experience as I was under the impression that my data was backed up before he wiped my phone. I came back on August 11th, 2024 with an appointment at the Genius Bar because I was hoping that I was just missing where the contacts and messages were backed up. The female employee (I never got her name) didn’t even have me sit down at the genius bar and tried turning me away from the start, saying that I signed the data loss waiver and Apple is not responsible. When I asked to see Jonathon, she said he was not working that day. I proceeded to see him literally standing across the store. There was a big rush to get rid of me and clearly this store does not care about customers. This may be the case for all apple stores, but I would be careful before you let them...
