Bliss Nails — Attraction in Tucson

I stopped by in person to make an appointment and I asked them if they would be able to draw a turtle on my nails and they said yes, so I scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, I asked for a turtle to be put on my nails and the technician immediately said, "No, that's too hard. Let's do a French manicure." I told her I scheduled my appointment specifically bc they told me that my request was no problem. Despite attempts, they said it was not possible. I ended up with acrylic nails that were crooked and the acrylic overlapped with my skin. They kept trying to upsell me and asked me 3 different times if I wanted gel polish on my toenails. I paid $100 for a regular pedicure and acrylic nails I didn't want. I gave 2 stars for ease of making and appointment and a clean salon; aside from that I do not recommend them. For my next mani-pedi I went to Nail Pros on Houghton and they drew a cute little turtle on my nails and did a great job...

I received the worst mani/pedi of my life. I walked-in and was quickly assisted and brought to a pedicure chair after checking in. I let them know I wanted regular polish on my toes and fingers. They kept trying to upgrade my pedicure and I kept saying no. Towards the end of my pedicure I said “you never let me choose a color” and she told me it was $5 more to add a color on an already $30 pedicure (regular polish/nothing fancy). Aside from that, they did my manicure and the paint job is horrendous. I got a very light translucent pink and the layers were not done evenly. My cuticles were barely touched. I wish I had never come here because I could have done a better job at home and saved $65. I don’t recommend coming here. I came here to get a fill to hold me over until my regular manicurist from another salon got back from vacation. My experience was rather strange. I asked for an oval shape and my manicurist made them oval but then would flatten the top? I asked twice for this to be fixed but it didn’t appear she knew how. I never got to really look at colors. She asked what color I was thinking and then someone brought over a color. I did not like that color so she grabbed another. I asked if I could just select one and just grabbed a color from the wall without really being able to see it. At this point I just wanted to get out of here.
