Hairmosa Salon — Attraction in Tucson

I went in for a haircut a day ago and got exactly what i did not ask for, and one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had to date. I showed the stylist a picture of face framing and long layers around the rest of the head and explained that was what I wanted, very simple. She gave me BANGS that were shorter than chin length (which is not just because they got curled), and zero other face framing. She then cut layers around the entire rest of my head that don’t even reach the beginning of my neck, some pieces are even shorter than the bangs in front of my face, and they’re not all even the same length. I cannot tie my hair into ANY sort of style, low bun/ponytail, no high ponytail/bun because either the bangs fall out or the sides of my hair-do. I spoke up during the haircut saying I wanted long layers around the rest of my hair but at that point she had already cut the hair, and all she said was “don’t worry I’ll blend in the layers at the end it will look good.” I was basically unable to see anything happening either because the mirrors weren’t low enough to see anything. What my hair looks like when it was dried straight was terrible, they weren’t blended and were so incredibly short. So she curled it and it barely hides how bad the layers are. My hair is essentially a wolf cut, and not even a cute one like Billie Eilish. I am very upset about this, it will take months to even get my hair to a semi-enjoyable or manageable state. However, when I called for a refund, Christie was very kind, she didn’t give me the haircut, but there is no fixing to this cut except for growing out because I didn’t want to lose...

I am beyond happy that I found this salon!!! I just so happened to have had a bad experience at a popular salon spa in town that made me feel uncomfortable getting my hair done. I have long thick curly hair that can be very intimidating to certain stylists, therefore I chose to box color my hair for years now, just to avoid the uncomfortable comments. I went to Hairmosa to get an up-do and makeup application done for a wedding. They fit me in days before & were thorough on what to bring & what to expect at my appointment. It is so clean, cozy, and comfortable at the salon, I instantly felt like I was in good handsg. David did my makeup and I can’t tell you enough how AMAZING my makeup looked! He did an amazing job, he was so professional and sweet! The makeup lasted all night to the next day, my lashes are still on 3 days later! I highly recommend him! I got my hair cut by Rebecca and she did an awesome job layering and cutting my hair (it was super long and unhealthy) it feels great now & looks beautiful! My up-do was done by Christine & oh my goodness the end result was breathtaking! I got so many compliments and MY HAIR LASTED ALL NIGHT LONG!! I can’t say enough good things about this place. You can just feel the good energy when you walk in! I get my lashes done by bianca & when I tell you it’s the best lashes in town I’m not exaggerating. I have been to a handful of lash places and nothing compares. I can go 3 weeks between appointments while still looking great. I also got a facial from bianca and it was super relaxing, she even plays whatever relaxing music you like.
