So went to Headwest and purchased a knock off brand Vape pen made by the user's I believe it said WAX( never purchase one.) Reason being is had originally went in for a vape pen which was made by the makers Sky High. An reason I went with the knock off brand compared to the Sky High Vape Pen was because the WAX Vape Pen was 30 dollar's cheaper first off and second was told by the employee (White dude with dreadlocks, named Chris, as he told me.) That It was the exact same pen just no named brand designer, little did I know that was a lie. Until I left 5 minutes out when talking to my brother that he had purchased one of the WAX Vape Pen set's for 50$ the one that i had just purchased, and that one of the pens stopped working on him within a week and the other one stopped turning on 3 day's or 4 day's after. Told me that he bought the sky high set he was recommended and hadn't had trouble with them at all. So after hearing that turned right around with the homie went back to Head West an asked if we could return the knock off pens pay the extra 30$ cash to get the Sky High Vape Pen set (2 for 80$.). Got back and he said "can't do anything for yah" without even letting me begin very unprofessionally letting that slide, tried talking something through but ended with a very bad altercation and honestly clerk that was working shouldn't be working at a smoke shop being as impatient as he was horrible service. Than tried telling me(the customer!@!) that me and my friend could return our items and get the ones we wanted if we waited on the General Manager to show up because he couldn't get ahold of him on the phone and live all the way up by Cortaro told us that we would half to wait or come back anywhere from 2-3 hour's. Told us that he could be in anywhere from 11-1pm an it was 11:23 pm ish on the dot so walked out to ventilate while my homie Jeff that was also going in half on one of the pen's with me configured the situation. Smoked a cig. than walked back in as i walked up to the register the employee then with raised his voice when i asked if i could have the GM's(General Management's) number, as hanging up with what i got told shortly after by my friend was his manager. Purchased my vape pen from these guys since I already bought my shisha here and because the shop was conveniently close to my good smoking buddy when we were out late. Chris the white dude with dreads was unhelpful and didn't want to do his job. when I originally asked him to show me how the pen works and is set up he just told me to “watch a youtube video” and I had to pressure him to set up my pen for me.
The pen was hitting weird and after a few hits was hitting harsh with a 0 nicotine content juice. The shop was closed so I couldn't take it back that night. The next day I brought it back and the woman that was working there said she couldn't give me a refund( I let her hit the pen and she even said it was hitting weird and still hit weird even after we re-set it up) and had to call her boss in phoenix. The guy from phoenix didn't want to give me a refund for his defective product either. He told me that I had to wait 3 days for him to come down from phoenix so he could take a look at it and I told him that I wasn't going to wait 3 days for him to get a refund for a defective product his shop sold me. He told me that he would send his guy to see if the pen was defective. Lo and behold the guy that he sent was the unhelpful white guy with the dread locks. Long story short he re-setup the pen and it was still hitting the same with the harsh burnt taste and then he had the audacity to claim that “it was supposed to hit harsh like that” even after he admitted to me that he knew very little about vape pens “since he doesn't smoke them” earlier. After I called him out he agreed to replace the pen with a different(cheaper) one. After about 10-12 hit after I left the new pen completely went out and doesn't work at all. I called the shop later and got someone new on the phone, I told him that the new pen was defective and he told me that he would pass on the info and have them call me back. I never received a phone call back from anyone. I wouldn't recommend this shop to my worst enemy and will be filing a BBB complaint as well as having my bank pull the funds out of their account for selling me a defective product and not giving...
Read moreStopped in to buy an elf bar and I’ve noticed the same thing is going on with this smoke shop as it is with others. They are collecting the old elf bars and refilling them with cheap juice. I’ve been using the watermelon ice elf bar for a few months now so I know exactly what to expect. This is not it tho. The flavor is dull and not iced. It taste like pure sugar and no nicotine. Im disappointed in head west for exploiting customers. Other people may not notice but I do. I’ll drive 20 minutes to buy an elf bar since I have to avoid these fraudulent smoke shops trying to make a profit by any means. I will not shop here anymore. Oh and if you don’t believe that you can refill an elf bar just YouTube it.
Since I can’t reply to the owners comments I will post here. It is possible to resell the elf bar with a new package and stickers. And why doesn’t your watermelon ice elf bar taste like watermelon ice? There is clearly a difference between YOUR elf bars and other smoke shops.
