You can have one of the Ramadas around it to have a party or picnic! There are many ducks on the lake. I wonder how this place isn’t popular if it is so nice!!! Very beautiful lake, bring your family, your friends or just go alone. It's an amazing place either way. Walk the lake or fish whichever you prefer. There are plenty of restrooms around. Cleaner than most places. Ramadas scattered all over. Wildlife is very active over here, too.

I enjoyed my fishing experience with my boys. We didn't catch anything but we had fun. I will definitely go again. I didn't find a boat dock which was disappointing. Putting a boat out might mean getting wet. Perhaps I was mistaken though, I didn't walk the entire lake.

Very beautiful lake, bring your family, your friends or just go alone. It's an amazing place either way. Walk the lake or fish whichever you prefer. There are plenty of restrooms around. Cleaner than most places. Ramadas scattered all over. Wildlife is very active over here, too.

I am from Arkansas but now a resident of Tucson. So coming from a place where there were natural waters and vegetation everywhere you look to Tucson was different and hard to find where I'd spend my fishing days. I can honestly say this is the best lake in Tucson locally to fish. The downside for me is there is no vegetation or make aquatic homes for fish to hide and thrive in which would make for a more sufficient lake and better fishing experiences for the locals...

Best fishing spot in Tucson.( although I wish they filled the lake more often) Easy accessible route to the lake. Shaded in just enough spots to make you comfortable without getting you line stuck.
