This was our first stop on a very long road trip (CA to FL). We decided to stop in Tucson AZ for 2 nights to visit with friends and check out a few of the local places they either work at or recommend. This was the best rated RV park close to their home and in town. I felt safe as it was gated, and told it's not the best part of town. The office staff was very kind, helpful and accommodating. Our road trips are usually not planned and figure it out as we go. So we were able to book same day and they also offered a Good Sam discount. There aren't trees and no grass, but we didn't bring our pups on this trip, so it wasn't a big deal. The sites are a good size, back in and pull through sites are available. I am sure this won't be the first time we will stay, and I think we want to see more that AZ has to offer. If you are in the Tucson area and looking for a RV park, do check this one out if you want to be close to the night life.

It's a parking lot with hookups. It's fenced and gated. Some people have said they were concerned about safety and I did see bars on a lot of windows in the neighborhood. But we did not feel unsafe. I think it's overpriced for what is there, but it's next to impossible to find an RV site in Tucson when just passing through.

I have to give this 5 stars not because it is a "resort", but because it is clean and very well managed. Spaces are far enough apart to not be a problem. We will most definitely stay the next time we come through. Make reservations ahead because it was full. we stayed for 4 nights

We heard about this new park when it was still in the planning stages, and booked our reservation for two months based on the location alone. We were looking for a Tucson park for the dead of winter months, and were excited that we were able to find accommodations for our 41' diesel pusher motorhome in the bulls eye of the downtown Tucson area.

Our needs included a park that was multiple pet friendly, and close to the attractions we wanted to experience during our stay in sunny Arizona. We also needed full hookups with 50 amp electric service. Sentinel Peak RV Park fit the bill perfectly.

When we checked in, we were greeted by Cynthia, who was VERY nice and friendly! She gave us a lot of information about the local attractions, and made us feel right at home!

This park has only been open about 6 months, so everything is neat, clean, and new. It is a small park, only 23 sites, most of them big rig friendly. The asphalt pads are wide & level, and the sewer connections are downhill from your dump valve. There are no issues with the electrical or water connections. We are in site 8, which in our opinion is the best in the park. Several of the sites have a wide yard area between the sites.

The park is located between a couple of upscale apartment complexes, and we don't have any security concerns. There are several restaurants (and some of those restaurants are fabulous!), a hardware store, a clothing store, a Family Dollar store and a grocery store within walking distance, and the Sun Link Streetcar stop is only about 1/2 mile away. So, you can either walk there, drive and park your car in the large parking lot next to it, or Sentinel Peak has a shuttle service that will take you there.

Sentinel Peak is very pet friendly, welcomed our multiple pets, and allows x-pen play yards at your site. There is not an enclosed pet park on site, but there is a nice park across the street, where you can leash walk your pets.

They have game night on Thursdays, and movie nights on Saturdays. There was a pot-luck dinner one night, in the club house. It was a lot of fun to meet and mingle with the other park residents.

We are putting this park on our most favorite list, and will definitely...

This is a great little park (and by little, I believe they have 24, or fewer, spots) located central to everything "downtown" Tucson. You can easily catch public transportation... you can drive to pretty much anything Tucson has to offer without much fuss, and you're never far away. This is a great change for those who might be tired of camping way out in the middle of nowhere (nature) and just want to get closer to the action (or the restaurants, or whatever). While it is like parking in a parking lot (everything is asphalt with a small strip of rocks separating the spaces) it should be noted that they did not pour concrete... so you MUST USE JACK PADS or you'll put holes in the asphalt... especially if it's getting close to summer time, where the sun and heat pretty much turn the all asphalt almost back to its original liquid state (well... maybe not totally liquid, but I'm sure you know that it can become much more pliable when exposed to heat, so you'll put indentations in the asphalt for sure if you don't use jack pads). The seasonal worker up front was super friendly and very helpful. The people in the park were also very friendly. I guess you have to be somewhat friendly, since this is an extremely cozy little park. But, while the park may be small it doesn't mean that the sites are small. There is PLENTY of room to navigate the super small park, and the spaces are PLENTY roomy. You don't feel crowded at all. Everything seems to have a new feel to it, as they've done renovations in the past year, so it's a pretty nice park. That being said -- just remember you're in the "city" and may very well hear city sounds... like sirenes, traffic, etc. Honestly, I couldn't hear anything once I was in the rig. Our rig is very well insulated and when the air conditioner turned on you can't hear a thing outside the rig, so the city "noise" never bothered us. Great little park if you have need to be centrally...
