I really wanted to like this place, I was referred here by a couple of my friends and the first experience there was wonderful which is why I decided to come back.

I decided not to include names of who helped me but when they see this they’ll probably know who I’m talking about.

Second experience was ok, I have no complaints for the women who did my pedicures. The nail tech who did my nails the second time did a great job with the design but was rude, sarcastic, and rushed me out my seat.

I decided to try another nail tech the 3rd time, she was sweet at first. Although she took breaks in between to get coffee from Starbucks next door, I didn’t have a problem with it as long as she did the job and did it right. But she ended up rushing me, tried to slide with not matching the right colors, and the design was mediocre.

4th and final time I made sure to call and specifically say that I wanted a pedicure, a manicure with dip, and design, I also tried to get an appointment with Stacy but she was booked so I went with the nail tech from my 3rd visit. I arrived early to my appointment. The woman who was doing my pedicure started the water and asked me to have a seat, while I was making my way over, The nail tech who was doing my manicure rudely told me to sit at another seat, I figured she wasn’t talking to me because I was already shown my seat but she repeated herself directing her voice at me. I left it alone incase I was misinterpreting her tone. I dipped my feet in the water and realized it was too hot, before I had a chance to ask for them to cool it down a little, she continued to use that same rude tone to put my feet up, I proceeded to let her know that I need the water to cool down. Again, I let it slide. I showed her a picture of the design and color I wanted and she confidently said she could do that. Part of the design had cow print on it, the cow print she did looked like SPERM CELLS. I didn’t exactly tell her that but I told her I wasn’t quite satisfied with the design. Listen, if I’m gonna pay $140 (including tip) for my nails to get done, I’m gonna make sure I’m happy with it. She threw her hands up and said “you can’t expect your nails to look exactly like the picture” I told her that she shouldn’t have agreed to do the design if she wasn’t confident she could do it and if I didn’t expect my nails to look ALMOST exactly like the picture I wouldn’t have asked. She then started rushing me to finish my nails an hour into my appointment. We know that 1 hour is not enough time to have a pedicure and manicure with dip and designs. Whoever is doing the scheduling did not consider that the last two times I was there.

I see that the common complaints in the reviews is that some of the techs are impatient and rude. It seems like they are more worried about getting people in and out as quickly as they can, or they’re just not happy with their job. This place has potential. Again, I really wanted to...

Buckle up. I just left this salon before my service was finished because I was lied to and I was kept waiting for an hour after my appointment time. I went here after my sister recommended it. She'd gotten a few beautiful designs. All I've gotten is an approximation of a compromise on the design ideas I brought to them. It's worked out 2 times before. This third time was a disaster and the last straw. I didn't love my last set so I waited until I needed a fill and asked to just get a black version of my sister's last set. It was ombre glitter similar to the picture below. The older woman doing my nails promised she had the materials to pull off my request. It wasn't until my previous nail art was filed off, that she told me they didn't have the black glitter I wanted. She talked me into using a finer glitter polish and the end result looked like bad Rocky Horror cosplay (see below.) They could tell I hated it, but I didn't want to keep negotiating and be stuck there longer so I declined having it fixed immediately. They even offered to fix it FOR FREE if I came back the next day. I could also tell the other employees were discussing because several of them walked up to me to offer to fix my nails and they kept saying, "ombre," to each other. It got overwhelming so I went to sit in the car and waited for my sister to finish and pay. I didn't want to go back, but my sister convinced me to give it another try so I made an appointment today and chose a simpler design. I purposely requested the artist that had the skills to do it. When I arrived, he was still working on someone else so I waited. After an hour, I was going to leave when he said he could see me. I showed him and he nodded and began filing. He was half way done with one hand when a different woman turned around and spoke to him. Then he turned to tell me that I was going to be charged $50 for just the new design. I was shocked because I was assured the day before that I could get the service for free so I backed away from the table. Next thing I know there are 2 women flanking my seated artist who start rapidly talking at me trying to justifying the exorbitant charge. The woman who, originally, told me to come back the next day was sitting a few chairs down and said nothing while this was going on. It was clear they weren't going to listen to me and I felt overwhelmed by how quickly they got so aggressive so I just left. I knew I shouldn't have gone back there. My sister and I won't be making that mistake again.

Update: The manager thought it was appropriate to text me trying to discredit my review at 9:45pm. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to come back to a salon when a design didn’t turn out the way I asked. The artist and I usually find a design they can easily do and they change it for free + tip. The artists and management are money-hungry. They should’ve just admitted they couldn’t do the nail...

I had never been here before but I came to get my acrylics soaked off and a new set.

When I walked in I was greeted by a woman sitting on the couch by the door with her shoes off playing on her phone, she asked what I was in for and if I had an appointment then took me to her station.

First, she cut my nails down and then started to try to pop off my nails with a fake nail, it wasn’t working on the second nail so she grabbed cuticle cutters to try to pry the acrylics from my natural nail. All of a sudden I feel a sharp pain that feels like she broke through under the nail. I thought she literally cracked the nail down the center and I was bleeding. I told her “ow” and pulled my hand back. She said sorry the. DID IT AGAIN. I said ouch and pulled back again and the she said “these are too new, they usually just pop right off” I said “do you not soak them off here?” And she said “yes we’re going to have to.” 🤔 Excuse me?! Why are you causing me pain for no reason? She tells me I have to soak for 15 minutes and then leaves to sit on a couch. She puts on the soak and I can feel my finger burning, I was sure she had cut me.

After she comes back I can tell the nail she had tried manipulating with the tools and nail tip was burning and there was too much damage to get a set put on after. When she took the Dremel to that nail it was sensitive and painful. After the acrylic was gone I could see the obvious indent and cut going through my nail. I told her I would not be getting the full set after. She acted like nothing happened and that the nail was fine. There was no way I was going to jeopardize getting an infection, is this was her work to take them off there was no guarantee she could provide better service to start a new set either. I would never ever come back here and would not recommend to anyone. This was all about doing the job fast not quality work. This ruined it so I can’t even go somewhere else until the nail now heals, first two pictures are day of, last picture is 4 days later.

The girls box of tools said “Sammie” so I assume that...

Got a manicure and the Ice Dancer pedicure. For the pedicure, I was offered a menu and asked to choose which version I wanted. For the manicure, I was provided no options which seemed a bit odd. I was asked multiple times if I wanted anything to drink, which was nice. I was a walk-in, but the wait was just five minutes even though they looked very busy. The salon is very clean, they definitely enforce masks and hand washing, and they also put up a plexiglass barrier around you at the pedicure chairs and in front of you at the manicure stations. I don't think the pedicure chairs offer a massage, which is unfortunate. I couldn't find any remote control and it was never offered as an option to be turned on for me. I feel awkward naming names, so I'll just say gal one and gal two. Gal one did the manicure and it did not seem like a good value. Nails weren't buffed out and there was no final oil coating to help moisturize, so my nails looked dry and a bit ragged by the time I got home. They are also not smooth because there was no final buff. Gal two did the pedicure and also did not buff the nails. However, there were a few different massage sessions on my legs which were good. Both gals had great massage pressure. The callous on my left heel isn't gone, so I'm disappointed with that. It's often tough for me to know what to expect when I'm getting a manicure or pedicure because it seems like you always receive a lesser experience if you're a guy and a better experience if you are a woman. It could be that they were just swamped and forgot a couple steps along the way, but overall the experience was average at best. The cost without tip was about $75 which seems pretty expensive for a very basic manicure missing a couple of the expected steps and the second cheapest pedicure also missing a step or two. While I was there, several women came in with appointments, so I can only assume most of the clientele think they do a great job.
