You be the judge.
I dealt with Abby directly when I came in on December 14th, 2023. I had 119.3 grams of 14 carrot gold and she offered to give me $1200 dollars for it and then proceeded to tell me that what she was offering me was the best price I would find anywhere in Tulsa.
The day I came in 14 carrot gold was trading for $35.73 cents a gram.
119.3 grams Ă $35.73 = $4262.58.
A reputable gold dealer will expect to make 10% when they buy your gold.
10% of $4262.58 is $426.25.
So my gold was worth $3836.33 which is what I got for it at Tulsa Gold and Silver @ 6357 East 41st, Tulsa, OK.
HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW, MOST GOLD DEALERS ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND.
When you sell your Gold have them tell you what carrot gold you have.
The most common gold around Tulsa is 14 carrot, then have them show you how many grams you have in weight.
Then look up the going rate in grams for 10 carrot, 14 carrot, and 18 carrot gold. 24 carrot gold is very rare. Take your gram weight times the value for your carrot gold, then you will have your value.
The only thing Abby did was try to get my gold for 70% off what the retail value was.
What Abby means by her signs 50% to 75% off, is she is going to get your gold for 50% to 75% of the retail value.
The Bible says to be as gentle a lamb but shrewd as a snake.
Be wise and use this knowledge when you go sell your Gold.
Thank you in advance and thank you Abby for compelling me to research Gold and not get taken by you.
Cheers for...
Read moreI went to Abby's Jewelry Store hoping for a positive experience after reading all the glowing 5-star reviews. Many people described her as kind, fair, and trustworthyâso I expected the same. Sadly, my experience was quite the opposite.
From the moment I walked in, Abby came off as cold and dismissive. I brought in a 24k gold necklace and already knew its approximate value. But instead of offering a fair deal, she tried to lowball meâoffering only about two-thirds of what it was worth. It was disheartening, especially after placing my trust in her reputation.
Ironically, the best thing she did for me was suggest I check around for better offers. I took her advice and went to Tulsa Gold & Gems on Yale Avenue. They were professional, welcoming, and gave me $7,200 for my necklaceâ$1,200 more than Abbyâs offer of $6,000.
That kind of difference is hard to ignore. I left feeling both frustrated and gratefulâfrustrated by the experience at Abbyâs, but grateful I didnât settle. If youâre looking to sell your jewelry and want to be treated with fairness and respect, I strongly recommend skipping Abbyâs and going straight to Tulsa...
Read moreI went into Abbyâs Gold hoping to get a fair offer for some jewelry I was looking to sell, including a ring that three other places had already offered $500 for. Along with that, I had four gold rings and two silver rings with diamonds, rubies, and other stones.
What I got instead were bizarre, lowball offers that made no sense. She offered me $240 for everything â all the pieces â and then said if I removed the most valuable item and the two silver rings, the offer was $165. Completely nonsensical.
I walked out and took the exact same items to a place on 41st and walked away with $1,100 within 15 minutes.
The woman I dealt with at Abbyâs had a dismissive attitude and made it clear she had zero respect for me. The whole experience left me feeling like integrity is not part of how this place operates.
Do yourself a favor â go literally anywhere else. I wouldnât recommend Abbyâs Gold to anyone.
