Life.Church Jenks — Attraction in Tulsa

First time attending with my husband and it was the most unique church day.

The music was very good, I enjoyed it was like we were at a concert. Bit loud. I understood worshipping God but why so loud? My mother-in-law came as well but had to wear earplugs. Like why does this have to be a thing??? Your at church let's make it enjoyable for all should be your motto.

What I was a bit confused about was the sermon and who'd be speaking. To have it streamed by the main pastor was a first, and yes it was a good sermon. I'm not sure how I feel about watching someone preach from a different church when you have a pastor at the one you're attending and he could give one. But no. Just very different and almost controlling to be the only pastor to give a sermon.

Just seems like the other pastors at these churches aren't living in the commands as God wants them to be, they're just fill-ins for the main guy. Kinda made me bummed was hopeful to hear the other pastor's sermon because it's so refreshing to hear someone else's views vs the head honcho.

Might try again. Didn't feel that welcoming feel either so maybe it was...

My family and I really enjoy this church. Everyone is so welcoming. Unfortunately, I've had a head injury and the audio is so loud that it makes me feel like I have a concussion. I wore the ear plugs and it was still too loud. I have tried sitting away from the speaker, but it didn't seem to help. During vocal worship a light came across our eyes a few times and while it looked beautiful, it was rather painful. The only thing that has deterred us from going is the sound level. We are so grateful to be able to attend such a wonderful church with wonderful people. Our teenage daughter is loving the new...

If you need Jesus and you want to try a place that you instantly feel welcome and among friends, come to Life.Church. I use to come here all the time before COVID. I went back this weekend and Pastor Isaiah gave me a hug and remembered me, even though I haven't seen him in a few years. It was nice. I will be attending regularly again. Even if you don't go in person you can watch the services online (which is what I did). I just happened to drive by on my way to the gym and seen them waving outside, and I felt like I should go in person today. So I went to the 1pm service. It was great...
